Not only wolves, but other supernatural creatures as well. I don't want to give anything away, but this book has a sneaky way of dragging you into the story and following every twist and turn with baited breath. The characters are believable, the story unique. One of my favorite wolf shifter stories now. - L.R

I am stuck between a 3 and a four star read on this so I'm splitting the difference and leaning towards 4.

I enjoyed this book, it had great world building and an intriguing plot. I thought the main character really showed growth through the story. At first she seemed very young but as the story progressed she grew into her destiny which I thoroughly enjoyed witnessing. I did like that Keith and Belle fought for their relationship.

I felt this was a condensed Epic, there was so much going on and I loved the twists and turns, however they seemed rushed in spots and I wanted more which I think is a mark of a good plot. I loved the characters and wanted to learn more about the secondary's such as Sean, Gregory, Oliver, Wendy etc.

'Mated to the Werewolf King' by Alena Des is the First Book in "The Kings" series. This is the story of Annabelle 'Belle" and King Keith Blake.
Belle is turning 18 years old and just learned that her parents are really not her blood parents. That the Demon Lord wants her and there will be war if she is not turned over. Keith is the King of the Werewolf and overseas his Pack. Since Belle is apart of that Pack he is meeting with her. What Keith isn't really for is his instant feelings for her but doesn't want to accept them. This does make Keith seem meaner and moody. Belle thought she loved her brother's best friend but that is in doubt after her feelings for Keith grow.
Enjoyable shiftier story.

An interesting fantasy read with plenty of twists and turns. The plot seems to speed through many events and then spend a lot of time on others. Sometimes the information dumps were a bit thick, but for the most part the book was riveting and I recommend it to any fans of demons and supernaturals of all kinds.

Not my usual read. but I've been converted. A great read, really enjoyed the journey. Hope there's more to come. This book is told with two view points Belle an eighteen year old werewolf/witch and Keith the werewolf king. She is the mate for all paranormal kings, yes even Keith no matter how much he denies It. Belle's journey details the struggle to control new powers and the realisation that she was never a werewolf as well as being the mate to the unpleasant beast that has taken her from her family. Keith's struggle is how can Belle be his mate when she is not a werewolf. And how to protect her from the other kings who want to mate with her.

I am a fan of paranormal stories so looked forward to reading this book. I was greatly surprised and pleased by the development of this story and the characters as well. I found the book to be filled with constant challenges for Belle and Keith, the Werewolf King. As they fought through these challenges to be together, it made for a very fascinating story. I loved the introduction of all the other characters in this book and look forward to the next book in this series...great start to a great series!

This book took me a little bit to get into this book. But after I get into it I really enjoyed it, it was a fun and easy read that had just the right amount of plot twists in it to keep it interesting.

The paranormal/shifter aspect of this book was interesting and something that I enjoyed.

Normally shapeshifter/werewolf novels aren't my first choice when it comes to paranormal/urban fantasy books, but the blurb draw me in. I had a really good time reading this, after all. Thanks for the copy!
