Thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for a free, digital, ARC of this book. This book is a great combination of scripture, narrative stories from the author, as well as good history about the different Bible stories the author chose to use in the book. The author chose stories from the Bible that showed the heart of Christ - His compassionate heart, His truthful heart, His forgiving heart, etc.
I really enjoyed this book.

I am reviewing a copy of Seeing the Heart of Christ through Discovery House Publishers and Netgalley:
All throughout the gospels we are reminded Jesus Values people, all throughout the Gospels we see Jesus transforming, restoring and comforting people in an individual and intimate way.
In the heart of Christ twelve personal interactions of Jesus interaction with hurting people are shared. Delving into the rich textures of these stories allows the reader to see the power of Christ’s love, as well as our deep need for him.
I give Seeing the Heart of Christ five out of five stars!
Happy Reading!
