This is the second book in the Sloane series that I have read and it was a quick read. I enjoyed the author's writing style and felt like I knew the characters better from reading another book in the series. I am going to read the rest of this series in the near future!

Another in the Sloane Monroe detective series, book #6. Sloane and her friend/boyfriend try and solve the mystery of a missing baby and murdered young mother while Sloane tries to come to grips with all that has happened in her past. Sloane and Cody are both very likeable characters and you find yourself rooting for them to solve the mystery and find the baby while it's still alive. There is a few unlikeable characters in that of the father of a young woman who gave up the missing baby for adoption and the police chief. All in all a satisfactory read.
