Description
Manda Wolfgram is a struggling literary agent who is looking for the perfect manuscript to land in her lap
and
the perfect man to land in her bed. When the sixth-floor hottie finally
asks her out, she gets more than she bargained for. How can a girl wrap
her brain around a Shakespearean actor who writes erotica?
Harry Sackes leads a double life: making a career as an author by day and dipping into the dark
underworld of criminals at night. The moment he sees Manda in his twin brother's arms, his whole life
becomes his personal Shakespearean trag-comedy of mistaken identity and unrequited love in this fast-
paced chick lit romance.

Good book very well written! I'm very sure there will be a lot of people who will enjoy this read! Unfortunately it was "not for me" lol like I said it was well written and not a bad read at all just not my type of read. It's Harry and Manda book, Harry is a twin, he thinks he's the ugly twin, which I think that's the main thing that turned me off tbh Amanda was a good character i enjoyed her! This book was funny at times, suspense, a little steamy, all around not a bad read! Thank you NetGalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me!
I received this book from Netgalley for an impartial review. Thank you.
I have to be honest I wasn't really expecting much from this book. Despite my library background I did judge a book by it's cover and saw this as a 'fluff' chicklet that would not take much effort to read and dismiss. I was wrong in some ways but not in others. This story had more substance than other chicklets and a little more mystery. I liked the characters although following the twins in this book was quite difficult as their characters were so similar and their storylines so entwined. However, I did like the main character and her friends - their scenes together did make me chuckle as they reminded me of when I am with my own friends. A few laughs, a decent plot that I was not expecting and a main character you can get behind, this book is worth a scan. Great for a night in on the sofa and escaping your worries. (Think the publishers should rethink the cover though...)
Did i miss something ? while both characters were a lot of fun...i feel like i missed a major part of Harry's story that was never explained.
what happened to the sister ?
Was Harry an undercover cop or just a guy interfering in a cops and robbers scenario ?
I was hoping that the story would unfold fully before the end of the book - but it never did.
That is why i had to downgrade my review - while the book was well written , i feel like i walked into the story half way through .
Not for Me by Kat de Falla is the 1st book in the Windy City Chronicles, and I really enjoyed it. First of all I feel that the cover is misleading, it gives the impression that the book is a fluffy, fun book. In reality the books explores human trafficking and how one person has two different personalities. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series. I recommended this book, and don't judge a book by it's cover.
I received this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.
I got so confused while reading various parts of this book, I was missing some of the back story sooner in the book and a little more details about the past and the specific characters history. I pushed through and kept reading and it was so worth it. This is a really interesting story line and very original. I loved the dogs and the Shakespeare in the park.
I was disappointed in the ending, I wanted more. I wanted to know what happen to the brothers, where did they end up? Did Manda stay his literary agent and did he write the next great novel? Are they together as a couple? What happen to the princess series? There were so many loose ends and it was frustrating as a reader to just leave us hanging on so many different things.
