Description
He doesn't do emotions...She's all about them.
Dental hygienist by day and a tattoo artist by night, Jazmine "Jazz" Archer is known for her penchant for flair and her sassy attitude. She estimates her wealth by her beloved family and friends. When a cancelled flight leaves her stuck at a hotel with a super-stuffy but outrageously gorgeous businessman who threatens her with a spanking, she's surprised to realize the submissive she suppressed so long ago is begging her to take him up on his offer.
Self-made billionaire Blake O’Hearn is as conservative as they come. He sure as hell shouldn't be attracted to the flamboyant female with voluptuous curves and curls that dance when she talks. But behind her bold manner lies a submissive crying for attention, and the Dom in him aches to give it to her. The only thing he can't give her is love.

Jazz and Blake it started off pretty flirty and fun and I loved that he spoiled her and wanted to take care of her. I love how strong and fiery Jazz is, how she doesnt back down and just take crap from people but fights back. Blake is over complicating their relationship and just trying to add more layers so he can protect his heart from thawing and feeling love for Jazz. Aunt Glenna is such a fun and wonderful character in. This story. Ther were lots of great moments in this book, sitting my the pond watching the swans at his place, the lunch time fun and conversations they had were great. You could really see them developing feeling for each other. When she got injured and he realized he loved her because something he cherished was almost taken from him. It was great to see him really open his heart to her. There was a whole lot of D/s in this book so be prepared.
I received an arc from Netgalley. I was a little skeptical of this book at first but once Blake realized Jazz was someone he could trust he opened his heart. Great read!
Jasmine was betrayed, hurt, and traumatized by her last boyfriend when they tried out a BDSM relationship. She's broken it off with him and thinks she is done forever with the lifestyle.
Blake can't help be enraptured by this fiery beauty who is his opposite in every way, but also senses he can give her what she is trying to deny in herself. He convinces her to play with him, as long as everyone is clear this is for fun, pleasure, and education, not love.
Of course, love becomes involved and there is a sweet HEA. I liked that this book approached this type of lifestyle in a much more honest way than other stories I've read, and I loved Blake's constant, honest communication.

AMAZING!!!!!
This book was amazing. It has a great storyline. You can relate to the characters, emotions, & HEA. I could not put this book down. I read it in one day, so no laundry, housework, or cooking...yee ha!!!
Ohhh....I enjoyed this book!! What's not to like?? These two characters are strong and with just the right amount of angst. The authors descriptive language is perfect and set the scene and leaves no room for confusion. A fiery red head and an alpha male Dominant? Loved it! I enjoyed the banter and the laughter. Good read!! This is actually the first book I have read from this author. I will definitely be looking into more of her books. On to the next!I
I received this ARC from the publisher at my request for an honest review via Net Galley. Thank you Net Galley!!
I enjoyed this book. Jazz seems a well adjusted, independent character who takes no flack. She fends for herself even when she's down. Blake on the other hand, seems stunted in his emotional growth after having experienced loss early in life and the infidelity of his wife but still finds some way to care for people who he cares about.
I like that Jazz was true to herself and never became someone else to fit into Blake's life.
I will add the author as one of my favorites
Ohhhhhhh my goodness! Once I started reading, it was impossible to put it down! I love the dynamic between Blake and Jazz. The story shows how they slowly fall in love and that love at first sight does exist. This book had me in my feelings in such an amazing way. It captured me!
"Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for the advance copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review."
Loved this book very much. It had just enough comedy & HOT romance and the storyline was great! I highly recommend!
OMG~
This is definitely a MUST READ! I absolutely could not put it down from the time I started reading it! Blake's and Jazz's story is great to follow. I love the dynamic between Blake and Jazz. The story shows how they slowly fall in love and that love at first sight does exist. This book had me in my feelings in such an amazing way. It captured me!
Can't wait to read more from this author!
I liked this book very much and I recommend highly. It has some light bdsm and also a really sweet romantic story. I loved the way Blake and Jazz were so different but fit together perfectly like a puzzle piece. This book has all the feels!!
Cute first meet story
I thought Vonna Harper had a first cute meet in Mr. OH between Jazmin and Blake. There is definately chemistry and some cute banter throughout the book but the portions of the book that involved BDSM just felt off for me.
I received an advance reader copy via Netgalley.
Mr OH is a romance full of humour, drama and of course sex! Blake O Hearn is at the airport after returning from a 'sex' cruise, in front of him in the queue for his flight is Jazmin who has just been maid of honour at her best friends wedding. Blake notices her because of the bright rainbow of colours from the red of her mass of hair and her clothes, being a man who only ever wears black and white he is intrigued, when the plane is delayed Jazz is angry and upset as she is due in work, having two jobs to keep her head above water she knows if she looses her day job it would make life even harder for her.
Blake is into BDSM and feel Jazz would make a good submissive for him, she tells in to dream on, no way is she into that lifestyle for good reason.
An enjoyable read but to be honest I didn't feel Blake was that much of a Dom nor Jazz a true submissive, that said it was certainly entertaining.
My thanks to net galley and publisher for opportunity to review this book.
These are not my type of books, I am not into BDSM, so I did not read those parts, and just can't get into that whole Master/pet thing... So we have Mr. Oh who is a dom and is attracted to Jaz, who claims not a dom since her last boyfriend experimented with it and hurt her not sticking to the safe word...Then drama of old boyfriend, then Blake (Mr. Oh) trying to prove he can convince her.. She falls in love, he pushes her away then realizes he loves her and almost loses her...
Mr. OH is a great read !! I could not put it down and simply kept reading. Blake's and Jazz's story is great and will not disappoint you, even it evokes different emotions from you. If you like sexy and erotic reads with some flavor of BDSM, this book is definitely for you. I enjoyed it immensely.
I thought the characters were great! The story line was hot and I enjoyed it. I would definitely read another book by this author.
An erotica and powerful story with more heart and depth than expected.
On the surface, Blake and Jazz seem like stereotypical caricatures. Once their story unfolds, however, it is clear that there are many layers to both leads. Jazz is both admirable and lovable and probably one of the better written heroines in BDSM romance. She was a feisty natural born Sub who didn’t have all the typical baggage that usually gets shoved onto heroines. Blake, on the hand, is a super sweet Dom with a heart of gold. It is clear in his actions that truly does have a big heart and his thoughtfulness is as endearing as it envy inducing.
It is not just the characters that are well written but the story as well. Miss Davis has a easy style that has the reading flying through the pages, devouring each word. The dialogue and romance come easy and are believable. It is also a story that readers can become emotionally invested in. Be warned, however, that this novel does have heat and follows an D/s relationship. For some readers, that may be a deal breaker though others may be drawn to it.
Overall, a great erotic read filled with depth and heat.
Mr. OH was a very good BDSM romance. I would definitely recommend it for those just getting into the subgenre, or even those who have more experience reading it. It is a sexy, charming book about a reluctant heroine and a sexy, dominant billionaire. I enjoyed the book quite a bit. It was surprisingly light on dirty sex scenes! I definitely will read more by this author.
Blake and Jazmin are both stuck on a layover where they meet and sparks fly. Both have lots of baggage will they find a way to trust each other enough to have a D/s relationship? This is a fast-paced read with great characters and lots of steam. I was hooked from beginning to end. Loved it!
ARC received for review
It was a great BDSM book. I mean a sweet romance. No BDSM. No romance. It couldn't decide what it wanted to be, but it was a really good book. I enjoyed seeing Blake grow and learn to love again, and beat up Jazz's douche bag ex. There was a great cast of secondary characters (loved Aunt Gemma's spit cleaning) and a little side romance between her bestie and cousin.
**I received Mr. Oh from Net Galley and Wild Rose Press in exchange for a honest and voluntary review**
Mr. Oh by Vonnie Davis is hopefully a beginning of a new series by the author. I have read her Black Eagle Ops series and loved each one. So I jumped at a chance to read and review Mr. Oh. You won't be disappointed and I loved this book so I'd give this book 4.8 stars.
When Blake O'Hearn is standing behind Jazz Archer when their flight is cancelled and enjoying see her talk to the gate agent that she needs a new flight. (Never fear she gets her back in an interesting way) Being the Dom he's sure that Jazz is a submissive and he's VERY interested. But it will take the majority of the book to convince her that her previous experience is not how he would be. He's a billionaire who has made his uncle's shipping company one of the biggest one in the US. But he doesn't do relationships due to the loss of his father and mother's photo journalist career and it's one thing that Jazz wants can he learn to love and will they be able to stay together for the long run?
Jasmine Archer needs her flight to be re-booked as she can't afford to lose her dental hygienist job that she just started so when she meets Blake while trying to find their new gate somehow she knows that he's a Dom and loves to play. She isn't interested as her former BF didn't know what he was doing and hurt her. But he also refuses to let her go showing up at her other job as a tattooist at her cousin's shop. Luckily Blake is there to convince him that Jazz is his girl now. However, it will take some heavy work between Blake and his security staff to finally get him to leave. But when a drug addict breaks into her dental office and starts shooting Blake will finally realize he can't live without her.
Yes, there were moments when you wanted to smack Blake so he'd understand that he loved her but all in all this is a very enjoyable story.
Mr. OH by Vonnie Davis is the First book in the Billionaire Doms series. This is the story of Jazmine "Jazz" Archer and Blake O’Hearn.
Jazz and Blake are so totally different but that didn't stop them from being attracted to each other when they happen to meet on a layover. Both had been through allot had some trust issue and where Blake was a conservative Dom, Jazz was the colorful non-conservative women. But Jazz hadn't been true to her submissive side which Blake seem to bring out more.
Overall this was a fun read that I really enjoyed.
I could not put this book down. I loved the story and the characters. I will definitely be reading other books by this author.
OOOOOOOHHHHHHH!!! This was a fantastic story. Loved all of the characters and can't wait to read more about the other characters in the book. The storyline was great. The setting detailed. Everything that a GREAT book should have , this book had. Can't wait to read more from this author.
Even though this isn't my typical genre, the blurb sounded so interesting that I thought I'd give it a try, but unfortunately for me (and this is just my opinion!) it wasn't all that I'd hoped it would be. I understand the whole Master/pet thing, but Blake was verbally cruel and I guess that kind of ruined it for me. What I did like was the determination and tenacity that Jazz exhibited when she broke it off, but I was a little disappointed from the "turning point" on (I don't want to give anything away) -it just seemed like a really quick turnaround. Almost seemed like the story was rushed to get to the HEA. Because there were some really good moments throughout the book, I'm giving it a solid 3-star rating. I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC for NetGalley.
I give this book 4 stars. The storyline between Blake and Jazz is a fun beginning and emotional book. I recommend this book if you like a long book with a lot of details. I voluntarily reviewed this Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
This was a really good book. I tend to not enjoy erotica books because they are so overdone with copy and paste characters and settings, or border on flat-out abuse. However, this book definitely broke the mold for me and I was able to really enjoy the read. The characters are both flawed and likable, like many people. They have their ups and downs, their good moments and bad. The writing style is very clear and it breaks away from the same old plot lines of other romance or erotica books. I was really drawn into this story and I'm very glad I chose to read it!
Mr. Oh was not a bad story just seemed to be lacking a good plot. Overall good writing. The Characters weren't too bad.
The story of a dom and a sub. It's perfect for me and I love the story as far as I read it. Blake is a warm man but never showed because his ex-wife betrayed him. Jazz, on the other hand, suffered from her ex-boyfriend who just started a new lifestyle - BDSM. But then obviously Jazz ain't into that kind of life ...yet.
Love the story a lot, will love to read from this author more.
I honestly don’t know how I feel about this book. I really wanted to like it but there were times where I just about gave up on reading it. It was like a mixture of BDSM and a super sweet romance story.
I did enjoy the growth of both characters, especially Blake, throughout the story. What Jazz experienced with her ex was terrible, I really didn’t like him at all. Jazz’s personality was also another high point of the story for me. She was feisty, she was sassy and she just seemed so bright and vibrant.
So many times throughout the book I just wanted to slap Blake silly though. He just needed to admit it to himself that he loved Jazz and that it was something that he was capable of.
Overall, I did enjoy the story but it definitely isn’t something that I can see myself reading over and over again.
Good book, I enjoyed the plot and the characters. This story kept me reading
All evening. Vonnie is a new to me author and I will def be coming back for more
Omg... This is a really hot. Jazz and Blake story is about a girl who fell in love with a dominant male who treat her like the queen. I will recommend this novel to any romantic. It's hot and got you hook from the first page.
What don’t I like about this book? Nothing. It was fabulous. Blake, a Dominant billionaire, unexpectedly met Jazz, a dental hygienist and tattoo artist, at the airport when their flight home to Philadelphia was cancelled. He was immediately attracted to Jazz’s spirit. They spent the evening talking and he wanted to engage in a D/s relationship with her once they got back home. He knew from the beginning she was submissive, even though she was spunky and demanded her own way. Jazz was instantly attracted to Blake by his good looks. She wasn’t thrilled by his authoritative attitude, though. Of course Blake getting what he wants, he found out where Jazz lived and worked and started to woo her. But Jazz was in an abusive relationship with her previous boyfriend and was skeptical starting anything with Blake. Their relationship was truly special to watch. They both had bad past relationships that prevented them from truly being able to open up their heart. Watching both fall was sweet and endearing. And they were sexy as he** together! All of the secondary characters were awesome. They created a depth to the story that made it even more special. Great book hands down!
This is my first book by this author. I’m on the fence with this one. It took me about two weeks to get through it. It wasn’t really grabbing my attention. I’m chalking it up to a meh.
This was an ok read. I read some of the reviews and wondered what I was getting myself into. I could see the identity crisis this book had, but I think it was reflective in the identity crisis Blake was having. He couldn't decide what he wanted so the book couldn't decide what path to take. I did actually get sick of Blake and his back and forth behavior. It got to the point where I almost wanted to stop reading. He was like a split personality, one minutes all love and so sweet then the next just about the sex and bossing her around. He also kept saying he only wanted to be dominant in the bedroom and wasn't into outside of that, but his actions did not reflect his words at all. Jazmin put up with a great deal and I was not happy with her actions. She put her foot down and then in face of what happened at the end she said I can deal with your not loving me I can love you enough for both of us? What?!? Then why did you break up with him in the first place.
I liked the concept of the book. I kringe to say this but it is Fifty Shadish. Oh well, ok read.
Received an ARC from the publisher through NetGalley.
This book is hot and good. Hot because it will keep you on your toes. You just want the story to keep going.
This was my first book by Vonnie Davis, and this will be my last book by Vonnie Davis. Something about this book just didn't jive with me. I was kind of sad because I had checked out the review on Vonnie's work prior to me requesting Mr. Oh.
If you are a Vonnie Davis fan, go read this book. If you have never read a Vonnie Davis, take my thoughts with a grain of salt. It's just my opinion and you my thing something different.
This contemporary romance keeps readers riveted to the pages as a dental hygienist and tattoo artist is given the attention that her submissive side needs. Jazz and Blake are strong, captivating characters that easily grab readers attention and their give and take romance is one where both the hero and the heroine benefit from the growing relationship as they navigate the ins and outs of their emotional issues and their personalities. The romance is sweet, the passion is scorching and the relationship is full of sassy attitude and clashes of wills that provide chuckles and entertainment.
The plot is steady paced and flow smoothly as the suspense of this relationship moves forward. Blake is not usually attracted to flamboyant and bold women and Jazz thought she had completely suppressed her submissive side which keeps thing interesting throughout the romance, but at the same time kept the relationship see sawing from sweet to bdsm almost as if the characters couldn’t make up their minds which way to go. Also, this kind of made Blake out to be a “want things his way” type of guy as he would say one thing and then also immediately start pushing things back his way. Even with that, the story was entertaining and the author’s well written words brought the characters to vibrant life making it easy for readers to become caught up in the story.
Omg with this book! Talk about a roller coaster of emotions! I was laughing, crying, happy and angry. Sometimes Blake made me mad with his actions but he ended up making up for it which is good! And sometimes Jazz was a brat but again it was worth it. I think this book was very well written and I was hooked from page one! Such chemistry with these two!
