Nicole Flockton has an incredible way of immersing the reader in her books. She once again succeeds with her newest book Christmas in Ghost Gum Springs. From the time you meet Diana Jenkins and Connor Shetland you find yourself drawn into their love story. Diana has not had an easy life growing up and it has soured her in ways she is just now discovering. Her vacation in Australia is quickly sidetracked when she breaks down on the side of the road. Connor Shetland is disenchanted with his life. Taking a break to manage the bar in small-town Ghost Gum Springs, he realizes that slowing down and taking stock can sometimes lead to magical things. Can these two strangers get past their emotional baggage to fall in love?
Ms. Flockton is so descriptive of the Australian Outback and Ghost Gum Springs, I wanted to immediately book a trip to visit myself! Rich characters with depth and feeling help to make this book a very enjoyable read. It is my hope that Ms. Flockton will take us back to Ghost Gum Springs with stories of some of the other people we got to meet. I truly enjoyed this book and HIGHLY recommend it to seasoned Nicole Flockton readers as well as newcomers. Ms. Flockton consistently gives the reader GOOD FEELS with her books and this newest addition is no exception! Add Nicole Flockton to your favorite author list and her books to you 1-click list! You will thank me for this advice!!
