I believe that Marion Stroud is a great writer, however, I was expecting a book that was more of a devotional and less of a subject matter based book. I did enjoy the insight that I read by the author and I was thankful for the opportunity to read this book. Marion does take the reader through the various stages and events of a woman's life and I'm sure it would be helpful and enriching for many readers and women's group studies alike.
