WOW. This book was a seriously good book. More than I bargained for. You must give this book a try.
Thank you, NetGalley for the advance copy for review.
Michael will be the subject for a partial brain transplant as soon as a donor is available. Suffering with terrible headaches, Michael doesn't know how much pain he can take. Of course all he can be sure of is dying before/unless the "experimental" operation can even be performed.
Meanwhile, the Paxton family is having their own woes. Elliott had taken up with a woman (other than his wife, Catherine) even to the point of wanting to marry the woman (Stephanie). Stephanie must be looking where the money is because Elliott's son, Garrett, figures nicely into the tangled web.
Michael does get a donor but it is what happens after this procedure that has raised more than a few eyebrows. Particularly that of his doctor...
What price does everyone have to pay ? A brilliant read!
Many Thanks to The Wild Rose Press, Inc. and NetGalley for a true thriller!
