As a recent Air Fryer owner, which I have only used a couple of times. I was so excited about this book. It has many tips and recipes that will make your mouth water.
A great book for people that are new to the air fryer world and want new recipes to try out or for those that aren't sure how long to cook certain types of foods. Perfect addition for any kitchen!
We recently bought an air fryer because of how versatile the tool was. When I saw this book, I knew I needed to check it out! There are so many recipes and dishes that just make your mouth water. The air dryer is such a great addition to one's kitchen and this book shows all the possible things you can create with it!
Over 300 recipes for things you can make in an air fryer. The book Recipe chapters are Snacks/Nibbles/Appetizers, Soups and Sandwiches, Chicken/Turkey/Duck, Beef/Pork/Lamb/Veal, Fish and Shellfish, Vegetables/Side Dishes, and Desserts and Sweets. There's a great section of general air frying tips and a chart for crumb equivalency. Each recipe has a chart showing the quantity needed of each ingredient based on the size of air fryer you have. Recipes also have a "then" section, suggesting ways to serve it, transform it, or a sauce or something to accompany it.
My only wish is that there were more photos.
I received an ebook ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I have the other two books in the series, with recipes for Instant Pot and I love both, so of course I wante to check out the new air fryer book.
It has the same general design. For each of the recipes, there is a table with times/ amounts depending on the size of the machine you have, and step by step instructions. Usually, I love recipe books that have pictures of every dish, and this one is not it, as there is not pictures, but somehow I do not miss the pictures here. Great improvement would be if they also listed the weight of the ingredients - they only show volume measures in the book.
Anyway, I tried a few of new to me recipes, and they all worked really good. The ingredients are what you find in most pantries and grocery stores. The steps are mostly quick and easy, too. Lots of recipes where you coat your food with breadcrumbs and such so it does not dry out, but also quite a lot of stuff without coating.
I am going to buy the book when it comes out
I received a free digital copy of the book from NetGalley
An excellent book full of great hints and recipes.
I'm a air fryer owner and was more than happy about this arc.
Highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.
I have only used my air fryer a couple of times but upon reading this cookbook, it has given me the enthusiasm to get my air fryer out of the cupboard and start cooking some of these wonderful recipes. Clear instructions, which are easy to follow. Recommended.
My thanks to Netgalley and the Publishers for my copy. This is my honest review, which i have voluntarily given.
I own the The Great Big Pressure Cooker Book: 500 Easy Recipes for Every Machine, Both Stovetop and Electric cookbook by Bruce Weinstein and it's my go to cookbook. So i was super excited to see the Air Fryer cookbook and couldn't wait to read it. What can i say, if you get it you pretty much don't need any other cookbooks. Not only does it have a ton of recipes, they're all tested by the author so you know they're true and proven. There are a lot, and i mean a lot of details about coatings, oils needed, all the minute details that i, having used the air fryer for a couple of years, had no idea about. The recipes are easy and on point. They list ingredients, and the size of the air fryer- so you don't need to figure out how to adjust the proportions if you have a small or a giant one. Get this book, you will be glad you did!
Thank you Netgalley and Little, Brown for sharing this ARC with me. I haven’t made anything from it yet, but I’ve bookmarked so many things that look good. Since I own previous Instant Pot cookbooks by this author I know these recipes will be great. Recommend for anyone with an air fryer, especially if you’re still figuring it out.
