I think we have all felt completely inadequate at some point. Becky’s beautiful words in NO BETER MOM FOR THE JOB will touch deep places in your heart, provide sympathy for the struggles you have felt and offer joy and vision to the role that is so profoundly important i.e. being a mum to your beautiful children. You will find in the pages her own personal stories. And by the end of the easy-to- read book, will consider her a friend who is walking the journey of motherhood by your side. She sheds so much beautiful light on the struggles of motherhood that you are bound to feel equipped. She reminded me constantly that there does not need to be comparison or loneliness in motherhood. But it is essential and completely beneficial to finding a tribe to walk with you. I laughed, I cried and I cringed. Basically I loved this book, and will be recommending for all new mums and mums of little ones.
I loved this one! An excellent book for all mothers, since it has such an important reminder in it .I needed the message of this book!
Thank you to Bethany House for the free review copy. All opinions are my own.
As someone that is going to be a mom soon, but is not one quite yet, I really appreciated this book. It has helped me to manage my expectations when it comes to this new life experience. I also now know what to be looking for in regards to this upcoming season of motherhood. The book is packed with wisdom and grace. The author is super relatable, and she writes with such great honesty and vulnerability. I will come back to this when I am feeling like I am needed some more advice on how to navigate the crazy, fun, experience that is motherhood.
