Oh my gosh, this book is so cute! The artwork is gorgeous, bright, vivid, full of purple (my favorite color), and really fun to look at. The story is sweet- a young girl named Keelee finds a lost beast while she's picking fruit for her village, and she helps Beast find his way home. The two become friends along the way, having lots of fun on their journey to Beast's village. Once Beast is home, they share a tearful goodbye, but they are reassured by the thought that they don't live far from each other, and can visit each other anytime. D'aww!

This is a simple, cute story about an "island girl" named Keelee, who has found a new friend that lives on the other side of her island. The illustrations are colorful and eye catching, and the rhyming text is easy to follow and would be wonderful read out loud.
Lost Beast, Found Friend by Josh Trujillo is a cute story about a girl who helps a new beastly friend find his way home. The illustrations are so vibrant and engaging, and the characters are very unique. It follows a simple rhyming pattern and has just the sweetest story. I can see it being a hit for very young children to emerging readers. What an imaginative adventure - so vivid and fun!

This story is an adorable picture book! The illustrations are bright and eye-catching. The story has the perfect amount of rhyming but still tells a story that will engage a child. I highly recommend it!
I thought that this book was great, it was informative and educational and my daughter loved the story so for me that makes it a winner all around!
I thought that the images used were lovely and they added to the story, I liked the way that it was also set out and the sentences used and they rhyming structure too.
It is 5 stars from me for this one, I thought it was a fab little story! Very highly recommended!
First, the illustrations are bright and colorful and really draw in the reader. I LOVE THEM.
Second, the story is simple and really easy to follow. The font is really easy to read, also, which is a big deal for me. I like how there are also opposites thrown in - up and down, left and right, morning and night - so that kids can learn opposites and have fun while doing it.
Third, I usually get annoyed at rhyming books, but this one had just the right amount and it was really fun to read!
This book was simply adorable! Lost Beast, Found Beast was a simple story about making new friends and helping others in need. I really enjoyed the whimsical and silly illustration style. I also really loved the rhyming patterns that made this story so much fun to read aloud. I hope to see many adventures with Keelee and Beast in the future!
So I am pretty sure I am hitting the lottery on here with books for my son. He is 4 and a half months old and I do believe he enjoys having me read to him. Love finding stories like this to share with him.
