Description
A brilliantly twisty new thriller – perfect for fans of Lisa Jewell
Both of them loved him. One of them killed him . . .Louise has had to watch her husband, Andrew, start a new family in the four years since he left her. The ‘other woman’ is now his wife – but Louise isn’t ready to let Caz enjoy the life that was once hers, or to let go of the man she still loves.
As Louise starts to dig into Caz’s past, the two women’s pretence of civility starts to slip. But in trying to undermine each other, they discover more about the man they both married.
And when Andrew is murdered at a family party, both women are found standing over the body.
It’s always the wife. But which one?Praise for Tess Stimson

DING DING DING!!! I do believe I have found a new favorite author!!! Tess Stimson absolutely blew me away with every single page in One in Three. I love the first person narrative from each of the characters. I love how I feel sympathy, disgust, and anger toward each of them at some point or another throughout the book. I love that my jaw dropped at least a dozen times. I’m left feeling breathless and satisfied at the end of it all. I’ve already downloaded one of Tess’ previous books and I can’t wait to devour it the same way I devoured this one! Twenty stars from me!!! (Oh... they’re telling me that I can only give 5 stars so I suppose that will have to do.)
I can’t thank Harper 360/Avon and NetGalley enough for granting me the privilege of reading this book in advance!!!
The first paragraph in One in Three by Tess Stimson had me hooked. The descriptions had me both physically and viscerally feeling and experiencing what was happening. Wow, that was a fun ride. This book had me guessing until the truth was revealed, and it was a great ending.
The book delved into the delicate relationships of a blended family with an ex-wife, a new wife, and the children. The story is told from the perspectives of the ex-wife Louise and the new wife Caz. You never really know who to believe in this unfolding story. That's what makes it so good!
The book was fast-paced and had a lot of twists and turns. The story and characters were developed well and kept me interested from page one until the shocking end.
I'd love to read more books by this author. A great read.

Want to read a deliciously sinister story? Then I recommend One in Three by Tess Stimson. Two women love one man, who will die. The story counts backwards in the ensuing weeks leading up the Andrew’s death. The relationship between the ex wife, Louise and the current wife, Caz, is explored. Both have secrets. But so does Andrew. There were at least two main surprises the author drops on readers toward the end of the book. I enjoy a good thriller and this one fit the bill. Andrew is not what he seems, but just when you think you know who the killer was, think again.
What a way to start off the new year. I loved this book. The multiple POVs with the occasional police interview thrown in was great. I was sent on a wild ride trying to figure out whose story to believe. In the end, that is what I loved most about the story. Highly recommend!
Wow!!! This book had me hooked from the first paragraph. The story is a character driven thriller with so many unexpected twists, I was literally breathless with anticipation until the very last page. Louise and Caz are at the mercy of their unstable emotions and feelings for an undeserving man. Andrew is at the center of this toxic love triangle that ends in murder. Who is guilty of killing their obsession? I both loved and hated the suspects as the story unfolded. The characters were expertly crafted while motives came to the surface and lives were changed forever. This is a must read for all thriller addicts.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I can’t wait to read more books by Tess Stimson. Thank you NetGalley and Harper 360/Avon for my ARC.
