This book as been an encouragement to my heart. I am someone who doesn't even know what their passion is. I thought I had a passion, then my life upended and everything I knew and loved was pushed to the side and died. As I've been asking God to revive in me a new passion, I've found God putting different books in my path to read and this was one of them.
I am grateful to have gotten to read this and will be reading it again. This is definitely a book every woman needs to read if they're looking to please God with their passions and follow after the dreams God places in their hearts.
This book exceeded all expectations! From the beginning, this book sets out to be a resource for girls who are seeking their purpose in God. The added self-reflection pages help to dig deeper as a reader and positively adds to the book. The way Connelly writes is inviting and comforting for all who might be interested in drawing out their glory girl potential! By adding stories from the bible, coupled with anecdotes and simple yet beautiful full-page quotes, the book is easily read for pre-teens and above. Many thanks to NetGalley for the copy.
Encouraging and practical, this book is a beautiful resource for young girls seeking to grow in the glory of their Creator and in the purposes and passions He calls them into. The author does a wonderful job helping point back to God and to give young girls a safe space to process and grow. The application questions and prompts are intentional and thoughtful and allow for deep reflection and revelation. This book is deep in Biblical truth that is presented in a relatable and approachable way. I would proudly recommend this book to anyone with a young lady in their life looking to grow in their understanding of Christ and their own callings.
