Description
Angels and demons walk among us. Nathan Miller, an assistant pastor in a quiet town, doesn’t believe in them. His life is thrown into chaos when terrorism strikes his town and a reactionary religious militia rises against it, and a surprise encounter with a demon-possessed woman forces him to face the truth.
The archangel Uriel knows Nathan is heir to supernatural powers and could be the key to victory. While he guards Nathan he must also protect humanity from a terrible secret that could destroy them all. In this blood-soaked epic they are about to learn that evil cannot be bargained with, but is it too late to stop the Apocalypse?

this was a really good read, i enjoyed the use of angels and demons. I liked the characters and the story, it made me look forward to more from the author.
Unfortunately I didn't have the chance to read it before being archived so I can not say anything about it.
Therefore, I'm gonna give it the average rating here - 4 stars
This was an interesting take on the Angel/Demons and good vs evil story line. Characters are well developed and it was easy to get lost in the story. I will read more from this author.
Thank you NetGalley for the eARC. I took a chance on this book because I liked the cover. It did not disappoint. It kept me interested until the end!
The character and the plot are well and interesting described. The story progresses in a good way and pace. The story doesn’t take itself very seriously, but that makes it even better. I definitly liked this book, because it was a good mix of action, battles and something light and a good storyline.
What you expect going into the book really determines what you're going to get out of it.
I went into it expecting a fantasy book that happened to have angels, demons and some references to the bible, but wasn't a theological work. Because of that, I enjoyed the action oriented story and raced through the story.
If I had come into it expecting it to be true to the source material, I probably would have been disappointed. Take warning if you're expecting a 'True to the Bible" story.
Thank you NetGalley for giving me an e-ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.
