Description
An attractive student. An older professor.
Think you know the story? Think again.
THE NEW UP-ALL-NIGHT THRILLER FROM THE SUNDAY TIMES BESTSELLER CARA HUNTER
She has everything at stake; he has everything to lose. But one of them is lying, all the same.
When an Oxford student accuses one of the university's professors of sexual assault, DI Adam Fawley's team think they've heard it all before. But they couldn't be more wrong.
Because this time, the predator is a woman and the shining star of the department, and the student a six-foot male rugby player.
Soon DI Fawley and his team are up against the clock to figure out the truth. What they don't realise is that someone is watching.
And they have a plan to put Fawley out of action for good...

And she does it again.
Just when I thought Cara Hunter couldn't improve on a catalogue that is already outstanding, her latest novel is, in my opinion, her best yet.
In a truly original, fresh and compelling writing style, 'The Whole Truth' tells two tales in one.
Firstly a very clever development of an ongoing back story involving DI Adam Fawley and his wife Alex (Although this takes nothing away from it being a stand alone novel) coupled with an intriguing tale involving a tryst between a successful, attractive, female professor and her young, sporty, also attractive, male student.
Who is telling the truth and who is prepared to go to extraordinary lengths to protect themselves from the law?
I got to 90%, wondering how on earth the writer would manage to tie it all up but a sudden, explosive and extremely twisty conclusion is just round the corner.
Two things I have learned about Cara Hunter:
1. I should have more faith that she will absolutely deliver in that last 10%
2. As soon as I open one of her novels I need to clear the next two days.
Order a takeaway and get comfy on the sofa. You are going nowhere until the last page.
