This cookbook was well organized and jammed pack with recipes I want to try. The book begins with an introduction to the instant pot and includes rookie mistakes to avoid and utensils to keep on hand. Then it moves to the air fryer and offers the same introduction, mistakes, and utensil suggestions. Every section of the book from breakfast to desserts includes recipes for the instant pot and for the air fryer. The index is extensive and helpful! I’m not sure what I want to try first, the butterscotch pecan French toast, the chili dogs, or the chocolate peanut butter brownies!

This cookbook was just what I needed! Currently, two of my favorite cooking appliances just happen to be my instant pot and air fryer. I don't know how I functioned without them.

The recipes contained in this book have easy to follow instructions, great pictures and are well organized. I can't wait to cook quite a few of them. The cauliflower steaks and the crab cakes are two that stand out in my memory, but there truly are so many. Obviously not every recipe appealed to me because of personal tastes, but the majority did. I will definitely be utilizing this cookbook a great deal in the future.

Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with an ARC. I voluntarily chose to review it. I was so impressed by this recipe book that I'll be buying a copy for myself.

So many delicious and simple recipes I can’t wait to try. Every meal, including snacks and desserts!!!, has its own section with recipes for the air fryer and the multi cooker. The step by step instructions are very easy to follow. This book will help alleviate some of the pressure cooker concerns since it walks you through all the steps. I do wish there were more pictures but there are plenty (definitely more than some cookbooks)

This is a nice entry-level cookbook that is very cleanly presented and with an excellent curation of recipes. Because this is more of a beginner's guide, the recipes are fairly simple and without exotic ingredients. But more advanced cooks will note that there is no nutritional information, few images, and no info/description/author's notes about each recipe.

The book breaks down as follows: Introduction (with useful information for first-time users of instapots and air fryers), Breakfast, Appetizers, Sides, Beef and Lamb Mains, Poultry Mains, Pork Mains, Seafood Mains, Vegetable Mains, Desserts, and Index. Those sections are broken down by Instapot recipes and air fryer recipes.

Each recipe is very cleanly presented. They are single page, with a large title, yield/prep time/cook time (and icon denoting Instapot or air fryer), ingredients on the left and fairly short and numbered steps on the right. Some steps can be a bit confusing: e.g., my favorite step was "To prepare the chicken: cook the rice according to package directions." I had to read that recipe a few times to realize that the recipe has two parts: several steps for the chicken part and then another step for the sauce. But because recipes with several stages are not separated, it can get a bit confusing.

The recipes all look excellent - I found quite a few I wanted to try but started with a simple deviled eggs. I liked that the recipe gave alternative options if I didn't have e.g., an egg rack for the insta pot (use metal cookie cutters to separate the eggs - smart!). The recipe was easy to follow and the deviled eggs came out excellent. There were very few exotic ingredients in any of the recipes and there was a nice mix of simple and complex items. Some recipes will call for e.g., cooking in a pan beforehand. They are rather few, though.

I have to admit, the lack of pictures in several was frustrating; e.g., for fajitas I'm told to wrap the tortillas in warm paper towels but I'm not sure if by 'wrap' the book means that I roll them up in it as a stack or do I layer them individually and flat with several towels? Preparation images would have been great. But finished images would have been better - there are only a few photos (though the ones in the book do look good).

In all, I like the presentation and the simplicity. Nutrition info and special diet info would have been welcome and are glaring omissions. But as an entry level cookbook, you'll really learn to love your instapot and air fryer in great ways. Reviewed from an advance reader copy provided by the publisher.

Being a full time working mommy of 4, you need quick and delicious recipes to feed the tribe. I’ve always liked the idea of an instant pot but never knew how to use it! This is perfect and the best present I can ever gift myself. A variety of recipes for all times of day and delicious!!

This book has wonderful recipes. I honestly dont know how to feel about combining the idea of the airfryer and the instant pot. On some of the recipes I read I thought, this is an airfryer revipe and it ended up being an instant pot one. I know many people that have an instant pot own an airfryer. So this isnt really far of a stretch. I just question the organization of the book itself, I feel it could have been a better execution in the irhanization process is the main point i want to drive.

Thank you to NetGalley and publisher for this free digital ARC in exchange for my honest review.

This is a really great recipe book for people who are new to these appliances. The book goes into detail about using them and some fun recipes to try out. The recipes are all pretty standard American food, and there aren't any suggestions for people who are following different diets, which could be a downside for some. Overall the book was well organized and full of recipes I want to try.

'Air Fryer Instant Pot Cookbook' is a wonderful, comprehensive cookbook with a huge variety of mouthwatering recipes. I really liked that recipes for both small appliances are included. Sections are organized by meal type (breakfast, sides, meats, etc.) and include Instant Pot and Air Fryer recipes. This would be great for those learning to cook with the small appliances, but recipes are extensive enough that people of all ability would enjoy it. Beautiful photography accompanies some of the recipes. I strongly recommend this one!

My thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for a free ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This recipe book caters to those of us who adore "kitchen gadgets" that supposedly save us time in the kitchen.
Well, you'll have to wait 8 hours for a tase of this author's recipe for Butterscotch Pecan French Toast, because that is how long it will take to cook in your slow cooker! But this recipe sounded so delicious, and was actually quite easy to follow, so I, for one, and dusting off my crock pot and giving this one a try!
Switching to an air fryer, it will only take you a total of 30 minutes to prepare Spanish Breakfast potatoes, which sound equally mouthwatering.
There are all kinds of tantalizing recipes: hummus, vegetable potstickers, potato salad with mustard vinaigrette, balsamic beef ribs, and pulled pork sandwiches for the Instant Pot, For the Air Fryer, you have an assortment of air fried veggie chips, chicken wings, stuffed peppers, and coconut shrimp tacos.
And for dessert: I am personally going to try to make the Caramel Apple Hand Pies! I have a press in the shape of an apple which I have been trying to find a good recipie for! And right after that, I'm going to try the Chocolate Lava cake recipe for the Air Fryer.
All the recipes sounded simple to make, and you didn't have to hunt for any exotic ingredients for the most part. The pictures were colourful and had me running to my fridge more than once to satisfy a craving!
Highly recommended resource for Air Fryers and Instant pots alike!

Reminded me of a long time ago that I used to know Chicken Marbella. This book has a sign on the left top of each page which shows a picture of an instant pot or air fryer depending on the equipment to be used for the recipe.
Chicken Kiev, Farrotto sounds fun.
Falafel in airfryer is a good idea.
Have not heard of Dulce de Leche Shortbread Cookies.
Creme Brulee in an instant pot.
Lots of variety of recipes. More pictures would have made it even more relatable.

A great introduction to an Instant Pot & Air Fryer.
Great selection of recipes covering everything from breakfast to desserts.
The recipes are clear and easy to follow and the introduction on how to use an instant pot are more precise than the ones I received when I bought mine. Another good thing is the inclusion of measurements in g and not just cups.

I was given a copy of Air Fryer Instant Pot Cookbook by NetGalley and the publishers in return for a unbiased review.

Air Fryer Instant Pot Cookbook is a tutorial guide and cookbook for the air fryer and electric pressure cooker with recipes developed by Sara Quessenberry, et. al. Released 1st Dec 2020 by Quarto on their Chartwell Books imprint, it's 160 pages and available in hardcover and ebook formats. It's worth noting that the ebook format has a handy interactive table of contents as well as interactive links. I've really become enamored of ebooks with interactive formats lately.
A short introduction with tools and supplies and some safety do's and dont's leads directly to the cookbook. The recipes are arranged thematically: breakfasts, appetizers, sides, beef & lamb mains, poultry mains, pork, seafood, vegetable mains, and desserts. There are 100+ recipes, enough to keep even the most obsessed cook going for ages.

The recipes are given with English (American) measurements and metric equivalents in parentheses (yay!). The ingredients are listed in a bullet list sidebar format along with special info in the headers including tips and background and serving suggestions. There are very few (none, really) which require difficult to source ingredients. Nutritional info is not included. The specific cooking machines (air fryer and/or instant pot) are indicated with a little icon in the header of each recipe. There are numerous vegetarian options

We're definitely going to try more of these. The book is not abundantly photographed (about 25% by my rough count), but the photos which are included are well done and serving suggestions are attractive and appropriate. Well written book, tasty recipes. I've dinged half a star for the dearth of photographs. For cooks who -need- photographs for serving ideas, this might be problematic.

Four and a half stars.

Disclosure: I received an ARC at no cost from the author/publisher for review purposes.

Love this book and it’s recipes. I struggle to find good recipes for my instant pot most days but this book has tons of new recipes for me to try out on family.
