A cute story but it needed more page time to really flesh out the story and characters. The plot was good and would be even better with a full length story. I liked the lead characters and the inclusion of Spanish in the dialogue was a nice touch to make it more realistic. I just need more depth to be given to characters to really connect with them.

This is a well written book that holds your attention from the first page until the last. Amata and Harlan's story was a sweet romance, and the two boys, Liam and Dario made it a fun read. This book was a joy to read. Thank you Backlit PR via NetGalley for the complimentary copy of this book. All opinions expressed are my own.
