Good book! This book had intrigue, suspense, action and a really good who done it!! It had me guessing for quite a while! Definitely had a lot of twists and turns! It was a good thriller! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!
The plot was good but most of the characters weren't likeable. The story line just didn't seem to fit. Jake was likeable and so was Jenny but I just didn't like Christie. I will follow this new to me author because the book was well written except for the unlikable main character. Than you to the publisher Wild Rose press for the advanced copy of this book.
An exciting and engaging page turner. Lots happening to our lovely protagonist and her fireman neighbor. Interesting characters. As usual, I would be happier without any foul language or intimate details, but that did not keep me from enjoying the story. Thanks to the publisher for providing a copy via NetGalley.

Thrilling and tense moments in this mystery, murder.
Some great characters and a wonderful love story, this one will keep you on the edge of your seats, and there’s some really great twists you won’t be expecting.
Very enjoyable and entertaining read.
I received an Arc copy of this book and chose to post this review
There are books that are good mysteries and there are those that are romances. From time to time you come across those which are both. Sometimes, what actually happens is that one takes over and the other becomes a secondary storyline. Unfortunately, in All Fired Up, I felt that both were missing something.
On the one hand, we have the mystery of who has killed Christine's husband. (And seems to be now targeting her.) Then we have her budding romance with her best friend. Although Christine attempts to solve the mystery, it didn't really work for me. I'm not sure exactly what was lacking, but something was. I also had figured out who done it early on, but even at the big reveal, I wasn't sure that it worked or made sense. Then, I just didn't buy the chemistry between them with the romance element. I think the main problem is that it was trying to be both a romance and a mystery, rather than being one and adding the second element as a side story.
Christine is a bit of an odd character. I assumed to begin with that she was a character in her forties or fifties, she certainly didn't read like someone in their twenties or early thirties. When we find out her father is only in his early fifties himself, then obviously that can't be the case.
This wasn't a bad read, but it could have been so much more, it was just lacking for me.
I received a complimentary copy of this book through NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

SUSPENSE AND ROMANCE! This book delivers! I was suspicious from the beginning of Annie! I did not like her character at all but Sue Jaskula has wonderful back story writing and character building skills. She is an amazing author and this book is a wonderful example of it.
