I loved this book soooooooo much!!! The illustrations are gorgeous and the story is so sweet!! I love Brett Young and I love the song that this book is based off. It is not just the song in book format, but uses the theme of the song and some of the lyrics for the foundation of the story, but the story adds a lot of other stories and details and features Brett and his beautiful wife and daughter. Everything about this book is so sweet and I can't wait to get it in print!
Yeah, fine, I'm crying. This is just such a sweet book, full of love, devotion, and hope for the future. I love how the narrator honors his partner for her best qualities and holds her up as a role model for their daughter while also leaving room for their child to become her own unique person.
This would make a lovely gift for any father and I'm sure it would become a cherished favorite for family storytime. The illustrations are soft, lively, and absolutely gorgeous as well.
Many thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review!
Recieved preview from #NetGalley. I have a newborn granddaughter and found the book so sweet. Would be a wonderful gift for dad to daughter as a reminder of how she is loved, also a beautiful tribute to the beauty of a mother. #Love you, Little Lady

This touching lesson is imparted in the form of rhyming proses that is appealing, compelling and artful. When I got the book, I was wondering if it's the same Brett Young whose songs made me fall in love over and over again.
I checked the book information and lo! there it is! Yes, he's the one.
I'm so glad I got to read this amazing book on daughters. Not just that, it shows the appreciation of one's family which we tend to forget or just not be vocal about it. But damn. I feel it's important to let our family know how much we appreciate them.
Love the illustrations. Dear artist, that's an amazing job you have done!
That dress-up page got me teary eyed as well as it made me so happy. Thank you for such amazing art.

Love you, Little Lady is an absolutely beautiful book for children about growing up and learning that no matter what, your parents will be there for you.
This book brought tears to my eyes as I read it. I could feel the absolute love radiating from this book.
I loved that this wasn't a book just about the dad or the mum but how the story is about the child and how much the parents live them, and how the father expresses the best qualities of the girls mother and praises her for being his child's mother. He also adds the qualities he'd like to give her of his own but most importantly that he wants her to grow up to be her own unique self knowing they're always behind her every step of the way.
Honestly, this book is amazing and really worth a read.
