Description
This royal romance is off to a rocky start…
As a way of apologizing to his matchmaking sister for inadvertently ending her engagement, Sheikh Kadir Oman agrees to let her find him a wife. He needs someone who is unquestionably supportive, especially since he’ll soon be taking over as king of Al-Fatha.
His sister thinks headstrong American Stella Green would be perfect for him. She’s smart, beautiful, and seems to love Al-Fatha as much as he does. And the chemistry between them is obvious. But he quickly discovers that Stella’s vision of the country is far different from his—and she’s just as stubborn as he is. Can he stay with a woman who disagrees with him about his country’s path, no matter strong his feelings for her?
Stella still can’t believe she agreed to marry a man she’d never met—and a king at that! But something in her gut tells her this was the right decision—and not just because her new husband is gorgeous. Their marriage gets off to a rocky start, though, when Stella realizes Kadir’s idea of ruling Al-Fatha is to remove everything that’s beautiful about it.
Was their marriage a mistake? Or will they be able to work through their differences and make their love last forever?

Leslie North is the pen name for a critically-acclaimed author of women's contemporary romance and fiction. The anonymity gives her the perfect opportunity to paint with her full artistic palette, especially in the romance and erotic fantasy genres.
The truth of the matter is she loves her fictional persona, Leslie North, more than her normal, day-to-day persona! Her bestselling books focus on strong characters and particularly women who aren't afraid to challenge an alpha male. Inspired after years of travel, her stories are set all over the world, from the tough streets of Russia to the beautiful beaches of the middle east.
Leslie fell in love with romance when she first picked up a scrappy, dog-eared romance book from her local library. She began writing soon after and the rest, as they say, was history. She now lives in a cozy cottage on the British coast and enjoys taking long walks with her two Dalmatians, George and Fergie.

Kadir is so sure that his way is the only right way. He practically wrecked everything with Stella because he wasn't willing to give a little. I liked how Stella is willing to help Kadir see other ways.
Kadir and Stella met through his sister’s matchmaking agency. They have an arranged marriage. They are strangers. They have a volatile relationship. He will be the king of his country. He wants to bring foreign money to the country to make it a tech hub. Stella loves the charm of the old sections of the country. There views clash. He has trust issues because his mother left the family to become an actress. Their relationship has many twists and turns. Love wins the day. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
I enjoyed this story as it was different than the other books that are out there right now. Stella meets Naziha one day and instantly hits it off and Naziha being a matchmaker sets herself to help her find the perfect man. Enter the Sheikh who is in need of a wife. There is instant chemistry between the two. After some miscommunications and arguments they find their HEA.
