Good book , this book had suspense, intrigue, action, and drama! It also so had a unique storyline, it was very different from most books I've read! I would definitely recommend reading this book, its well worth reading! But it wasn't one of my edge of my seat nail biter types either , it still was very good just not an all time favorite! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!

Lucy's coming for you is a fast paced psychological thriller that had me looking over my shoulder and jumping at noises!
Summer is an advocate within high security mental hospitals for the patients. She is their voice and does all she can to do her best for each patient she works with.
When Lucy, one of the patients she's been an advocate for, disappears off the ward and the doctor and ward nurse say they don't know who she's talking about, Summer starts to question her own sanity. Has she been imagining this patient and going crazy like her older brother, or is she really missing?
Lucy's world spirals into that of nightmares and she doesn't know who she can trust or turn to. Will people think she's gone crazy like her brother and have her sectioned onto one of the wards she works on where the patients feel scared and powerless? Or will people believe her?
Summer decides to delve further into funding out what's happened to Lucy, but will Lucy find her first?
This book had me on the edge of my seat - literally!
Summer was such a likeable and relatable character and I felt her fear, anxiety and confusion with every chapter I read. If you love psychological thrillers you really must read this!
I can't wait to read book 2 in this new series!

Let me just make one thing clear..... This book is ADDICTING! Lucy's coming for you is sure to be a hit, Ashley Beegan sure does know how to tell a story!

Lucy's Coming For You, has all of the key elements of a psychological thriller, not only as a book but I can see this being made into a movie. Cue the fear factors and you can even go in a horror direction. I personally was very scared and looking under the bed after I concluded reading.

Summer was a great character, not only was she relatable but you truly liked her as a person. Everything she was going through I felt as though I was right alongside her. My anxiety was at an all time high. This is a "must read" .

I was very excited for this book after reading the title and description.
I must say it exceeded my expectations. The plot was perfect , confusing yes . But i think that's the thing about thrillers , watching all things connect at once feels so satisfying .
Can't wait for more books by the author .
.
The pace was too fast for me at times and that was the only thing i didn't like.

What do you do when your best friend and you keep having to explain how people get killed around you? This is the issue for Luna and Owen- best friends since college. Luna, the quirky eccentric girl who is hiding a lifelong secret and Owen, the swaggering, unable to commit boy with a few skeletons of his own.
This was a fun story with characters I did care about!

Summer is a mental health advocate on a ward when one of her patients disappears from the ward but no-one will admit she was ever a patient there! Is Summer going mad like her brother did or is their something fishy going on? Summer attempts to establish the truth and to find out what happened to Lucy. Meanwhile Lucy is hunting Summer too but how can she make people believe her when Lucy isn't supposed to exist? This was a fast paced, easy read with some interesting twists and turns. An enjoyable read.

Seriously creepy fast paced thriller!

Lots of description, and you can forget you’re reading at times and get engrossed in the story, which is something I love about books.

Lots of “omg what?!” And “no way!” Moments!
I nearly cried for Mrs Timpson!
Also a great ending!

A few small potential inconsistencies but didn’t take away from the reading.

Loved it and will be looking out for more of Ashley’s books!

4 Stars!

This is a great story! Lucy, a patient at the hospital where Summer is an advocate, goes missing. Summer is told that this patient doesn't exist and was never there......dun dun dun!!! Summer begins to question her own sanity when strange things begin to happen.

I have to say, there were some super creepy parts and I was questioning reading the story, alone, at night.

I took one star from my rating because I felt like the tie out was a little clumsy and I got a touch confused. All and all, really great story.

A special thank you to NetGalley, BooksGoSocial, and Ashley Beegan for providing me with an ARC.

Amazing horror novel, kept me reeled in. Very interesting. A few things could be fixed, such as unnecessary characters. Otherwise, amazing!

Thank you, Netgalley and the author, Ashley Beegan.
This psychological thriller is so good. One of the best opening chapters for a book, it sucked me in right away. This psychological thriller had me guessing until the end. What and amazing debut, will definitely be checking out more of the authors work in the future. Over all 4 stars :)

Lucy's Coming For You by Ashley Beegan is the first debut novel in the Detective  Swanson Series.

Summer Thomas works at the psychiatric hospital ward where Lucy Clark, a violent patient, disappears without a trace. Summer does her own searching as no one believes there was a Lucy Clark in the ward. To make matters worse, Lucy, a person who apparently doesn't exist, comes looking for Summer on her own terms.

I loved that the book constantly made me think about questions, such as; Is Lucy real? She is a ghost or Summer's figment of her imagination? How could she have escaped? Why are people denying knowing her? I needed to know these answers asap, and more importantly why was Lucy coming for Summer?

I found this was a very unusual psychological detective thriller, where the detective isn't mentioned until the very last half of the book.

However, I loved that this book had a bit of a spook factor to it, so in saying that I would only recommend this book if you don't mind the heart racing kind of thriller books.

Thank you to Netgalley and Books Go Social for allowing me to read Lucy's Coming For You by Ashley Beegan in exchange for an honest review.

Summer works as an advocate in a mental health facility and has been helping Lucy one of the patients.
Summer starts to question her own mind as staff deny that there is a Lucy in the facility and she then starts to see Lucy in her home.
Twists and turns in the book while Summer tries to unravel what is going on and a Detective Swanson also has concerns for Summer but then reads between the lines.
Great psychological thriller.

I felt bad for Lucy, but this was a really well done mystery. The plot was well written and I really enjoyed getting to know the characters.

Summer is a patient advocate for patients at a mental hospital. When one of the patients disappears, and everyone tells her she never existed, she knows she has to find out the truth no matter the cost. This is Lucy’s Coming For You by Ashley Beegan.

The author’s development of the characters was skillfully done; interesting and believable. I loved Summer, strong, even in the face of her fears. The plot was inventive and interesting. Though I could see where the author was going, the last quarter of the book still held some surprises.

My review is voluntary and all comments and opinions expressed are my own.

I remember picking this book up because it gave me The Silent Patient vibes which I loved, but it was entirely different.

It's a well written psychological thriller, fast paced, and a page turner with great plot twists almost every chapter, which will certainly keep you on the edge of your seat. I was edging on a reading slump and this book got me out of it.

This was the first book in the series and I can't wait for book two and more of DI Swanson!

I received an ARC of this book from Netgalley. This was a good psychological thriller with enough twists to keep you reading. Characters are well developed with a likable main character and some creepy villains. A fast paced quick read. I'll definitely be reading the next book in this series.

I flew through this book! Summer is a patient advocate in a mental health ward. She sees Lucy, a patient who has a troubled past, walking the corridors every day. Until one day she isn’t there. Summer is convinced she was a patient there, although her colleagues say they’ve never met a Lucy. Well, they did. But she died.

The premise of this is brilliant and I didn’t see the twist coming. The character development is clever and I liked Summer. I felt that the decisions she made were true to life and I worried about her over the course of the book.

The only thing that stopped this being a 5* was the way some of the healthcare staff behaved towards the patients. As a trainee psychologist myself, their decisions didn’t sit right with me personally or ethically and although it was necessary for the story arc, I didn’t like that aspect.

A thriller with some very interesting characters with intriguing stories. The story swings back and forth as this patient advocate interacts then searches for a violent patient that has disappeared. Each of them has a back story that will keep you wondering exactly who should be locked up. Thriller with a liberable touch of horror thrown in just to make sure you stay awake tonight!
