Wow!!! I absolutely adored this one and devoured it within an hour or so!! I love poetry so much, especially when it is relatable and I found every single poem in this beautiful book to be relatable in one way or another. The writing was gorgeous gorgeous I just truly adored it. It has definitely filled the part of me that needed poetry. Such a beautiful, relatable read that I am going to get a physical copy of so I can reread it all of the time!!

Poetry is used to invoke emotions and this poetry book did so, for me. I felt myself reliving life again from a young age but somehow I feel okay because I am not alone?

Going through life, you’re gonna be alone. In my opinion, you need to learn to live with yourself and be accepting of yourself before you can give yourself to someone else. You need to come to terms with who you are.

Each verse/page was so beautifully crafted and written with emotion. As the reader, I was able to partially relive life as it was and what it can be, not exactly as the writer but pretty close.

This book is out on the 12th of October and I highly recommend it if you want to feel okay again with life as it is and all that’s to come.

Thank you to @netgalley for allowing me to “Read Now” and truly enjoy myself with this beautiful book.

This was well and truly really beautiful and will be perfect for those who are waiting to see how to come out. It’s really interesting to see other people’s insights and experiences and this is just like one of those books where you can’t help but feel comforted by what you see and read! So 5 out of 5 stars it was stunningly beautiful!

Modern poetry is a special kind of art. Sometimes the thoughts are so simple, jotted down in one line - but they are something that you think and have never put into words. That is where the magic of poetry lies.

And Angemeer's collection is definitely magic.

From simple one liners to full pages, each of Angemeer's poems consists of things I once thought and felt, things I think and feel now, or things I am sure I will feel and think in the future. She was able to elicit a wide range of emotions (from a few tears to giant smiles) from me, and thatn's when you know the connection has been made.

Put together in a lovely format, with typography that gives off a gentle feeling and a random assortment of visual art, the aesthetics are just as appealing as the poems themselves.

I enjoyed reading this collection immensely, saved many of the poems to look back on again, and am really looking forward to reading the rest of her work.

I have no words to say because I’m speechless but it was extremely well written and powerful. Poetry has always been a way for me to relate to others and I think that book accomplished that well.
