The Bride's Curse

Thank you Netgalley and Wild Rose Press for the chance to read The Bride's curse by Glenys O'Connell. This was a light paranormal romance with a mystery, and was a quick easy read. Kelly’s store, Wedding Bliss is the best place to shop in Bar Harbor, Maine. But when three brides return the gorgeous vintage wedding dress she had purchased at an auction claiming it is cursed, something is wrong. Then Brett, the nephew of the dress’s original owner, shows up and tries to get the dress back and sparks fly...but he isn't the only one who shows up....Kelly's discovers a ghost is haunting her shop. Can Kelly trust Brett with her secret of talking to ghosts, so that they can solve the mystery of the cursed dress? While I enjoyed this read; (who doesn't enjoy a book, with wedding dresses and ghosts!) I did find a few plot holes, and it could have been edited a bit, but overall I did enjoy it.

Spooky perfect read for a cool Fall night. Really great writing

I really enjoyed this book. I loved the plot and the characters although I can't say the same about the writing.
The writing fell a little flat for me. I was hoping it to send creepy vibes but it didn't

Kelly Andrew's store, Wedding Bliss, is the one-stop for all a bride's needs. Abandoned by her own fiancé, she hopes to make it easier for brides by planning their ceremonies down to the last detail. But one little problem keeps her from being successful. Three brides have brought back the same vintage gown saying it was responsible for dashing their dreams.

Brett, the nephew of the original owner of the dress, needs to get the gown back. Impossible since Kelly sold the garment and claims the gown is cursed. Brett's confusion at her words deepens when he discovers she communes with ghosts. Yet, when a contrite spirit comes forward, with a message, Brett goes along on a wild-bridegroom chase. Passions flare as they work to break the wedding hex before another bride's dreams goes up in flames.

This book had so many ingredients in it. Curses, weddings, ghosts, witches. One dress that has been in three weddings that were cancelled. The owner of the store, Kelly, is wondering how to put off whatever curse is on this dress. It is giving her wedding shop bad vibes.
