Description
When they first met, best friends Priya, Isobel, Caitlin, Eshe, and Shayne swore a vow: Chase dreams not drama. Now, years later . . .
Priya Seth is determined to win the coveted one-year mentorship with her idol at New York’s hottest law firm. Her rival? Last night’s hookup, Hadrian Marek. Despite having a privileged upper hand, Hadrian is willing to form an alliance. Priya’s only condition? No sex.
Isobel Morgan is planning the perfect wedding, fighting to get the promotion she deserves, and caring for her dependent father. But when a video of her cheating fiancé goes viral, her world comes crashing down until she gets an offer that merges her passion for news and activism. The caveat? Long hours and travel away from her father.
As these young women discover that achieving dreams is often erratic, and drama is as inevitable as adulting, the foundation of their friendship begins to crack, putting their sisterhood to the test.

Well, now i wan moooree!!It wasn’t what I expected, but i can’t say it was bad.It was definitely promising and I wish I could read the whole book.I love the whole concept of enemies-to-lovers and I can’t wait to read the finale piece.Since it wasn’t a lot to read,i can’t say I have big opinions about this book. What I appreciate was that it presented a lot of different cultures and characters with distinguish features..plus interracial relationships.I will start reading more from this author.
Again, thanks for this opportunity to give my feedback about this ARC.Thankful for NetGalley!!
I really liked the Two chapters we were given, but since they're probably more miniscule to the grand picture of the story and mostly just introduction to the characters I can't really speak on whether or not the rest of the book will be good, but I feel like this book could definitely be a 4 star for me and I will probably buy and read it almost right after its publication date.
I am so sad this is so short but it makes me so excited for the full book. It was a great piece of the book & it truly makes me so happy. Wonderful characters, can’t wait for the book!
Thank you to NetGalley, the Publisher and Fallon DeMornay for providing me with an ARC of this book.
I really enjoyed this book! The strong female leads were my favourite part! But I also loved how the author showed the power of friendship while also exploring the characters romantic relationships.
I definitely recommend reading this :)
This ARC was provided to me via Kindle, Wattpad Books and by #NetGalley. Opinions expressed are completely my own.
Fun, light and quite enjoyable.
Friends by chance, sisters by choice. Priya, Isobel, Caitlin, Eshe, and Shayne swore a vow to always be there for each other and chase their dreams! 10 years later, their friendship has not faltered. Priya has now set her sights on winning a coveted mentorship at a prestigious law firm. Meanwhile, Isobel is planning the wedding of her dreams, aiming for a promotion, and being the caretaker for her father. Some curveballs are about to be thrown their way, and they’ll need their sisters to lean on like always.
To date, this has been my favorite ARC this year! I absolutely loved the characters, and the love and strength these strong women drew from one another. Their sisterhood was genuine, heartwarming, and once I started the book; I couldn’t stop. Although Priya and Isobel were the main protagonists of this story, I’d love to see the other girls shine as well. The little we learned about Caitlin and Shayne left me wanting more, and Eshe felt like an afterthought. This is definitely a book that could keep on giving.
Thank you to Net Galley and Wattpad Books for the ARC for this lovely read! I will post a longer review to my bookstagram page on the publishing date!
Stiletto Sisterhood By Fallon DeMornay
Rating: 4.5 stars
Friends by chance, sisters by choice. In this book, we meet Priya, Isobel, Caitlin, Eshe, and Shayne. Friends who met during their teens who each swore a vow to always be there for each other. And 10 years later, their friendship is still just as strong even with all the difficulties of being an adult and life. In this book we look at the characters Priya and Isobel. Priya is applying for a job at a law firm with the opportunity to work with her idol and to even gain a 1 year mentorship under said idol. While, we are introduced to Isobel who is in the middle of planning her wedding, mustering you the courage to ask for a promotion, and being the caretaker for her father. However, a series a unfortunate events and ill intentions definitely causes the two women to question their lives. But good thing they have their sisters, who would drop everything to ensure that both of their sisters are okay.
Review:
I really enjoyed this book, I loved the characters. I found Priya to be really relatable as someone who is forced on their career and someone who is so driven to succeed. I really hope there will be a second book because I would love to learn more about Shayne. Her character made me so happy and she was hilarious. So far this has been one of my favorite reads this year and I definitely plan on buying a physical copy upon the release date. This book gave me The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants vibes but just make it about adults and a tad spicy.
* Thank you so much to the author Fallon DeMornay, to NetGalley, and to Wattpad Books for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review. This review will also be posted to Goodreads.
I love this adaptation of Sisterhood of the travelling pants! The friendships really made this book what it is and the romances complemented the story really nicely. I enjoyed reading about Priya and Isobel’s contrasting stories and how all the girls helped each other out. I hope the rest of the ladies get their own books as well!
I really enjoyed the part of the story we were given, but I really wanted more at the end! It did make me excited to see what happens going forward. I definitely would purchase this to read the rest of the story.
4 stars!
"Chase dreams not drama."
A vow, sworn by stiletto heel by the friends by chance, sisters by choice ladies—Priya, Isobel, Caitlin, Shayne, & Eshe. This is headed mainly in Priya & Isobel's story, yet follows the journey of strong female friendship overall. Priya is determined to win a mentorship at a prestigious law firm by childhood idol while Isobel is the sole caretaker for her father, trying for a promotion, and planning her picture-perfect wedding. Only, nothing is easy or perfect and the sisterhood is always there when needed.
This book was deep, yet funny and relatable. There was something I loved about every character and their relationships with one another. This was an overall enjoyable read, however, there was quite a bit of filler I kept on skimming through which knocked this down to 4 stars. It had a little bit of spice but I wouldn't qualify it as a spicy/smutty read by ANY means—Just enough to seal the deal. I do hope that there is a second book so we get more than a glimpse into the lives of the other sisters. My main thought throughout was The Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants. Nowhere near the same, but the same perfect vibes and inspiration weaved throughout this book.
‘When they first met, best friends Priya, Isobel, Caitlin, Eshe, and Shayne swore a vow: Chase dreams not drama.’
This story follows the journey of sisters by choice, more specifically Priya and Isobel. I won't lie, I was hoping for a bit of a steamy romcom with an ensemble of love stories happening at once, and while the moments with their men were especially sizzling, the real love story was between these sisters, and I ended up enjoying that more than I expected. It's always so refreshing to see female friendships represented in a way that lacks the usual pettiness and jealousy, a true healthy female friendship. This was just a good, wholesome display of a group of girls choosing each other as family. However, I do wish we got all the sisters as the focus instead of just Priya and Isobel, I feel like it would have given a better understanding of their dynamic as a chosen family to see the other girls' perspectives.
This story gives us an example of the true bond of friendship and how the family one gets to choose can matter more than the one you have by blood. It's not a romance, but rather a display of love between friends. And I applaud the author for going a route many wouldn’t expect from a cartoon cover that we have all grown to associate with strictly romance.
For anyone looking for a love story between friends and wants to read a quality book filled with female empowerment that’s not overbearing then I highly suggest this book!
Thank you to author, Fallon DeMornay, netgalley and Wattpad Books for this ARC.
"Friends by chance, Sisters by choice."
When you combine the found family theme of Friends, the youthful and girl power vibes of The Bold Type, and the cheeky and wild antics of Sex And The City, you get this vibrant, funny and heartfelt story about the power of female friendship and the importance of relying on those friends when you really need them!
"They had each other. Always."
It's always so refreshing to see female friendships represented in a way that's not filled with underlying pettiness, jealousy and silly rivalries. This was just a good, wholesome display of a group of girls choosing each other as family.
Don't get me started on the excellent display of female empowerment. The amount of times I exclaimed, "Girl, you better preach!", cannot be tallied. You had your typical misogyny and racism but the way female empowerment just swooped in everytime and knocked cis, white male right in the face every single time, it was so satisfying.
I enjoyed Priya's story a lot more than I did Isobel's. I loved the whole law storyline. Made me feel like I was watching an episode of Suits. But Priya herself, as a character, was so badass, I want to be her when I grow up. She was determined and feisty and the way she never backed down, it was something to both be feared and admired. I don't have patience for insecurities and self-doubt in the characters in books I read, which explains why I couldn't relate or sympathise with Isobel's character. She was handed a bad lot but she was so unsure and afraid it annoyed me. But she really came through in the end there, gaining a spark that was absent throughthe entire novel.
This story speaks true to the bond of friendship, the family one gets to choose. It's not a romance, but rather a display of love between friends. And I applaud the author for a job well done. Cannot recommend enough!
Thank you to Fallon Demornay , netgalley and wattpadbooks for this ARC.
Caitlin, Eshe, Isobel, Priya and Shayne pleadged to always be there for each other and to chase their dreams. Now move forward 10 years later and their friendship has not changed. Priya has her sights set on getting a mentorship at a very prestigious law firm. Isobel is planning her dream wedding, taking care of her father and trying to get a promotion. Things are about to change in their lives and they will need their family by choice to help them through.
I really enjoyed this book. It showed that if you pick your friends right they will always be there when you need them. I loved the characters and the love and support that these women showed each other. You could feel their genuine love for each other.
This was one of those stories at once I started it I didn't want to put it down until I was done. This book only covers 2 of the friends and I hope that there are more books coming.

This was a very cute story about female friendship and chasing your dreams. Overall I really loved this book.
Over the moon with my first ever ARC - Stiletto Sisterhood! 👠
Summary:
When they first met, best friends Priya, Isobel, Caitlin, Eshe, and Shayne swore a vow: Chase dreams not drama. As these young women discover that achieving dreams is often erratic, and drama is inevitable as adulting, the foundation of their friendship begins to crack, putting their sisterhood to the test.
Review:
Out of the five sisters, Stiletto Sisterhood follows the story of Priya - a confident and driven lawyer in the making, and Isobel - fiancé of a Canadian pro baller, production assistant and caretaker. The representation, love between sisters, and girl power portrayed in this book is simply aspiring and beautiful. It definitely gave me a Suits x The Bold Type x Sex and the City vibe.
Overall, I thought it was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ (4.5 star) worthy from start to finish. I also really hope there's a second book in the works cause I'd love to get to know the other sisters 💜
A massive thank you to NetGalley, Wattpad Books and Fallon DeMornay for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This wasn’t a typical romance. It followed the POV’s of two women in a friend group of five. They dub themselves The Stiletto Sisterhood.
Priya, a confident and assertive woman, trying to jump start her Law career by winning a coveted mentorship at a huge successful firm.
Isobel, a meek & mild mouse of a woman who is a production assistant, caregiver to her father, and engaged to a star pro baller (I think it’s soccer?).
Clearly, things are going to go to sh!t early on, but mum’s the word. I will say that some scenes stressed me out to the point of sweating (my secondhand embarrassment game is STRONG).
At the core of this story is the sisterhood. That is the true romance of this whole thing. This group of women from all different places and walks of life, bound together by choice, The way the show up and support/empower each other is beautiful. It was inspiring, friendship goals for real.
There is a lot of wit and sarcasm in the dialogue. These characters are fleshed out and pull you into their circle, as if you were a member too. I love that they really “come into their own” and can accept themselves, flaws and all.
The dual POV was good, but it felt odd to just have two and not all, or just one. It also made it seem like some characters were just filler. (If this is a series, this would make sense)
I’m torn on the ending, while it was wonderful, I felt it left something to be desired. I know it’s super vague but I don’t want to spoil it.
I’m assuming/hoping this is the first in a series because I would love to continue reading about these characters and would enjoy the POV’s from the others in the sisterhood.
Check it out, when it hits shelves, 4/12/22!
A big thanks to the Publisher & NetGalley for gifting me a digital copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
Stiletto Sisterhood by Fallon DeMornay is a great debut novel. I didn't even know that Wattpad could lead to a publishing deal. A romance gone wrong leads to lots of misunderstandings and a great subplot.
