Leslie North had me in my feelings with this book. The search for acceptance and family while keeping your independence gives this book some deep meaning. I love it completely and I cant wait to see what Leslie North does next. I am a true fan!

Another great story by Ms. North! I can always count on her to deliver an entertaining and enjoyable read, and this one also did not disappoint. Laila and Marcus are two very different people coming from different worlds. He grew up in a loving family, while she spent her childhood in foster care. They meet when she brings his godson to him. He hires her to help him take care of the baby. As they spend more time together their attraction becomes stronger and the sparks fly. They really have amazing chemistry. The story was well-written with strong characters and kept my interest the entire time. Very good story!
