Two high school rivals. Ten years later. A vow not to fall in love . . .

School reunions: the perfect opportunity to catch up with old friends, dazzle old foes, and basically show everyone that your life could not be going better.

But for Lucas O’Rourke and Posy Edwins this isn’t quite the case. Lucas is about to lose his business, and Posy’s father has cut her off financially. And a reunion is the worst moment to come face-to-face with your rival. Ten years ago they hated each other, what could have changed since then?

As tensions rise, Posy comes up with a plan to solve both their problems, all she needs to do is persuade Lucas to go along with it. Trouble is, how do you ask your high school enemy to pretend you’re madly in love when everyone knows you don’t get along?

Great fun getting to meet Posy and Lucas from their school days and 10 years later when they meet at their school reunion. “Chalk and cheese, anyone?” Both are in need of a shake up in their very different lives, but as some may say, “opposites attract”. They both have some growing to do and together, bring out the best in each other.

This book was so much fun to read. I devoured it in a single session, and by the time I closed it, my face hurt from smiling. The chemistry between these two is palpable.
Totally engaging, witty, and one of the most original enemies to lovers stories I’ve read in a long while.

The Reunion is a wonderful book about an enemies to friends relationship. Posy and Lucas had me wanting more and not wanting to put the book down. I laughed and cried as their relationship changed. Such a good read.

marriage of convenience, former rich-girl-poor-boy turned comfortable-boy-broke-girl, is now one of my favourite combos.

I want to thank the publisher and netgalley for the earc. Opinions are my own.

Firstly, I wanted to say I enjoyed the book. I had some predetermined notion of how it should be. It wasnt but it had its charm.
The pacing was good after 20% and I was intrigued about what they do next. Most folks have already given a gist so I won't repeat it.
It was a sweet romance and they had a few good things going which come out in the end.
Lucas was a fairly likeable character . I hope people did not dislike him for being a type A.
Posy in the end was why he relaxed a bit from his spreadsheet mayhem.
The comedy and banter between the two was good. The whole of the headmistress plot was funny.
I loved Tara and kinda liked Seb and hope they get their own book.

Things that could have been better;
The initial setup was really slow. Their teenage interaction should be moved to the middle after we know them now. It was my least favorite chapter.
Posy"s family is pretty mean to her and partly ro Lucas and they don't get a comeuppance. However, they seem to love Posy.
The reason for the wedding is flimsy. I wish there was a more tough reason like Posy's dad being in massive debt that made her desperate and actually trying to get a job and therin lies Posy's character development which was slight.
The closed door romance needed to be open door because intimacy also helps the notion of love..

Sounds like a theises, I know. I liked the book and can't wait to see what the author writes next.

A really sweet story about two people and how they can change. Posy and Lucas were total opposites at high school, struggling to make any mutual decisions. Reunited years later, they come up with a plan to help them both out of tricky situations. The plan is pretty crazy and at points hard to believe but takes the reader on a fun journey, I kept thinking the book was American at first, but it was set in England.

School reunions! Everyone loves those right? No. Lucas and Posy former head boy and head girl at their posh private reluctantly attend their ten year reunion both on the scrounge for cash, Lucas needs new clients for his finance business and Posy needs to get to an event in Hawaii that could kick start her photography career. It’s a bust but there is a little known and almost forgotten by law in their school charter that states that the school will foot the bill for the wedding between any head boy and girl of the same year. Great! Except Lucas and Posy hate each other.
I really enjoyed this, it was all faintly ridiculous and silly which I am a fan of. I loved Posy’s posh girl Yahs and Lucas’ constant frustration. Their reasons for going through with the wedding get fairly spurious towards the end but by that point it doesn’t really matter we are just along for the ride. Jolly good fun.

This has been the week for ROMANCE!!! I can say, even though this is my first read by the author, I am becoming a fan of her writing style. Especially the way she fluidly portrayed her characters and the build up of their chemistry. I always love myself an enemies-to-lovers read with a challenge! And this book was exactly that! If this trope is something you're interested in or love to read, than I highly recommend this book.
