This book is lovely for building up children’s imagination and creatively.
It’s full of beautiful and eye catching illustrations, and entertaining scenarios and choices.
Children can make up an absolutely great story by going through the pages.
It gives them the push to get their creative juices flowing, and following the pattern, children can later come up with their own stories as well, with different themes.
My kids really enjoyed making up the story, using all the different choices, and they loved that they could come up with an entirety different story each time.
It definitely never gets boring! I really love all the books in this series.
Thank you to the author, the publisher and NetGalley for providing me with an advance reader’s copy for an honest review.
My almost 4-year-old LOVED this book. We read it probably ten times in a row the first time I showed it to her. Her favorite part is the maps page where she gets to describe the path she wants to take and how she's going to get from place to place. It was so fun for me to see her engage with this and get her imagination firing. There are endless combinations and she discovers something new every time we look at it, and because there are so many options it's easy to come up with questions to ask her to get her to think more about her stories. Awesome!

I've read a bunch of the other Tell your own story books by Lily Murray before, and this was just as great! Perfect for reading, but also as a writing support for the younger levels! Great prompts and helpful questions on each page, which can turn this story into completely different ones depending on who reads it! Would definitely recommend!
Thank you, Quarto Publishing Group, for the advance reading copy.
This picture book is such an adventurous read while being educational for the young readers.
The illustrations are eye popping and well done.
There's so much to learn regarding how we can enjoy with fun-filled activities in a jungle. We get to learn about different items that we will come across during such activities.
A well planned picture book.
Thanks to Netgalley and Quarto Publishing for the ARC of this!
Baby’s first choose-your-own adventure, this was so fun! My kids enjoyed it, even my can’t-read-yet-5-year-old (who had some help and some guess work involved) we each chose as we read it through one time, and after they grabbed paper and colored pencils to write a story together. I loved that it kept them interested in being creative together. I loved the illustrations, and I can see it being fun many times through.
This fun, inviting, create-your-own-adventure book is brilliant! Think of this as a visual version of "Choose Your Own Adventure" - making it very accessible and enjoyable for younger kids. Talk about an open-ended reading opportunity. There are so many combinations of stories for kids to create and tell, step by step, to create something all their own. I would have loved this as a kid myself and I know my kids will get a kick out of it (ages 2-5). Bonus points for the inclusive cast of characters and a fun cover!
This is such a cute choose your own adventure style book! I am sure it will be super popular with our patrons. The illustrations are bright and exciting, and what kiddo doesn't love being given the power to pick their own story?
This style of book is a great way to help children build their ability to tell stories. I can think of many ways I would use this in the classroom. I think this would be a great way for student to write about a topic, by letting them pick from the categories in this book. The children reading this book would also enjoy selecting all the different options with the cool illustrations.
This book is full of adventure. It would be a great addition to any child’s bookcase. It makes reading fun by getting to choose how your adventure will be. It’s bright, colourful, and creative.
I've been eager to read one of the Let's Tell a Story books and I was not disappointed! Think 'Choose Your Own Adventure' but for younger readers.
The illustrations are wonderfully detailed and the variety of choice on each page is really great to see including the level of diversity. The best bit for me is that it can be used again and again as the possibilities for new stories are pretty much endless!
This book is perfect for any young explorer and really feeds into supporting oral story-telling whether modelled by the parent or by the child. I can see this inspiring lots of children to try writing and recording their story too.
This would also be perfect to use in a class setting as a great way to support lower readers and scaffold their writing ideas.
Loved it and will definitely be buying a copy for my own children to explore over and over again!
**Thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and author for the opportunity to read an advanced e-copy of this book. All opinions are my own **

I absolutely loved reading this style of book in elementary school! I love that this book is colorful and has pictures to help with every aspect of the story. It's a great way to teach about story structure and would be a great fixture in any home or classroom!
Yes! Just when my family thought the Let’s Tell a Story! series couldn’t possibly get any better, Jungle Adventure delivered a completely new and thoroughly enjoyable adventure! We love picking out our own characters, clothing, destinations, and more, then starting all over and creating a completely new adventure. Thank you for Jungle Adventure and the Let’s Tell a Story! series.
