This book was sent to me by Netgalley for review…thanks to the publisher for the electronic copy…intrigue and mystery…widowhood…wondering what, why, and when…this author is talented at writing a mystery that keeps the attention of the reader…although the story moves slowly, at times, it reaches a resounding ending…enjoy this book…I did…
Reading this reminded me of my love for a good mystery novel. I read it in one sitting and I really enjoyed it and I am looking forward to the next book to see how the author will end the series.
Sally has been busy learning to live and rely on herself after the death of her husband. She has a successful business and living in a secured building. But she sees something in one of the elevators that puts her on a collision course of murder. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Wow! What a book! I couldn't read it fast enough. The tension and pace were absolute magic! Brilliantly unsettling, with characters so deftly woven that you never quite know who – if anyone – you can trust. Another riveting and powerful psychological thriller from this talented author.
From the suburbs to the city, Sally lives in a high rise in the city. Her accounting business is doing well. Then she sees something in the elevator and finds herself involved in a murder. Why she feels curious her tidbits of information seems to help the investigation. The story has interesting characters. The pace is good and the storyline kept me turning pages. This was a good read.
