“Our connection to the moon and the cycles of nature is a key to returning to radiant health. Sierra Hollister illuminates an accessible and beautiful path to connect with lunar wisdom in this sacred offering.”—Tracee Stanley, author of Radiant Rest and Empowered Life Oracle Deck
“In these soulful times, Sierra's offering of Moon Path Yoga is a generous gift of juicy movement, meditation, mudra, mantra, life-style practices for women of all phases and stages of their cycle to integrate the often forgotten but so essential lunar rejuvenation that we long for. A treasure for all!”—Shiva Rea, author of Tending the Heart Fire, and founder of the Samudra Global School for Living Yoga
“Sierra Hollister is one of my favorite yoga teachers and my awe for her is refreshed with this beautiful, beautiful book. Moon Path Yoga manages to be accessible, non-intimidating for the novice while also brimming with wisdom for teachers. It affirms the connection that I, along with my daughters, have always felt to the moon. In wedding the moon with yoga, Sierra has created an enduring gift – reminding us that yoga is not about youth or physical prowess but instead living and aging with grace, with both the bliss and clarity when we stay connected to earth, moon, and each other.”—Andie McDowell, actress
“Moon Path Yoga is a reminder of the old and wise medicine the moon offers. The ancient teachings of the moon and how it lives inside us are brought forth through words, movement, flow, meditations, mudra, mantra, and more. Sierra Hollister has created a guide for those of us who identify as women to honor the moon and her cycles and for us all to return the energy of the divine feminine-soft, powerful, waxing, and waning. Moon Path Yoga is a prayer for us to remember the relationship between darkness and lightness. It calls us into remembering to allow the moon to guide us as we create and traverse a pathway towards freedom.”—Michelle Cassandra Johnson, author of Finding Refuge and Skill in Action

This will be a great book for women who are devoted to yoga. It’s very in depth with information and poses for various stages of womanhood including pregnancy, menopause, menstruation and more. It is inclusive of women who do not menstruate or have children. It is a very spiritual book with a lot of focus on how the moon affects us in all ways plus health, relationships and more.
I love the spirituality of this book. The lunar connection to all things womanhood was much appreciated. The poses were for varying degrees of skill and expertise. There was truly something for everyone; maternal, menstrual, or post-menopausal. I loved the mantras and the deep connections that those brought forth. The pictures were very helpful for a novice like myself and the descriptors were appropriate. I was very thankful to have experienced this book.
I really liked this book. As a yoga teacher and practitioner, I always am looking for new approaches to this ancient practice. While the book is focused on connecting yoga to the moon phases for women, I think there’s a lot about a deeper connection to the practice that could be applicable to anyone. I really appreciated the practice suggestions and the pictures that went along with them - so great to see women of different ages, backgrounds and sizes depicted.
Discover your lunar cycle and nurture your powerful, revitalizing, feminine “lunar” energy with Moon Path Yoga. A curated collection of lunar rhythm practices, breathing exercises, mantras and recipes to provide support and balance throughout the lunar cycle.
One of the biggest highlights of this book is the visuals (over 125 colour photos) to provide practice guidance, and the inclusion of a meditation designed for couples.
Big thank you to Sierra Hollister and Netgalley for access the eARC, it has been an eye opening opportunity to develop a deeper physical and spiritual connection within my personal yoga practice.
