Description
Advance Praise
"Cooper and Lyndzi have created the smart, fun, accessible guide to pegging that we needed. Whether you are curious or already a pegging pro, this is a worthwhile addition to your sex ed book collection."—JoEllen Notte, sex educator and author of The Monster Under the Bed: Sex, Depression, and the Conversations We Aren’t Having
“The Pegging Book is a wonderful addition to sex ed literature! As an act, pegging has gained popularity among people of all genders, sexual orientations, and ages. It is great to finally have a single resource which teaches how to peg as well as gives it cultural context and history. Beckett and Miller have done justice to a topic which goes so much deeper than a titillating headline! In addition to great content, the book is beautifully illustrated and provides readers with a solid understanding of anatomy and pleasure centers. This is a must-buy for any person looking to understand how to peg or the act’s cultural significance.”—Rebecca E. Blanton, writer, podcaster, and kink educator
“The Pegging Book is more than a sex guide. It’s a smart and compassionate exploration of pegging as a cultural and sexual practice. Cooper and Lyndzi hold the reader’s hand through an intimidating sexual act with the kindness and tact of a cool friend. This book will reframe your entire concept of what sex should look and feel like beyond PIV penetration. It tackles every question a beginner might have: What does a prostate orgasm feel like? What kind of strap-on should I buy? And, gasp, does getting pegged make you gay? The Pegging Book is a necessary addition to every sex-positive reader’s library.”—Ella Dawson, sex and cultural critic

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of this book.
I was intrigued by the cover and title of this book. I’m pretty open sexually, so I knew what pegging was, and was interested in the way the book would be presented. The authors are very thorough, and present the materials with a sense of humor and fun. That’s what it’s meant to be, after all! Covering everything from the why’s and how’s, and even the best positions and recommended products, the authors give you the full scope of how you and your partner can experience pegging in a variety of ways.
Fun and informative! This is my first time seeing a how to book for this subject matter and in such a light, but informational way. The breakdowns and helpful and make it easier to digest. Would have loved some more cartoons highlighting different topics from the book.
Thanks so much for a look at this book as it definitely caught my interest. I read many books but this was my absolute first on pegging. I thought the dynamic was different but with a kind of humor.
What did I like? I thought the gender definition explanation really helpful since I’d been curious but hadn’t really wanted to google it. The difference between cis and trans and other varieties. I also found the different positions helpful. The book covers pretty much everything you’d like to know about this act. It was done in a tasteful fashion and without all that scientific garbage or medical jargon. An easy to understand book. Four stars
Would I recommend or buy? I still feel like something was missing in this book. Pegging isn’t for people on a first date but there has to be a ton of stuff you can do to actually lead up to it. Still the book has great views and it was interesting. It was a wealth of information! If your interested to know more then check it out! Thanks for the peek.
I received a complimentary copy to read and voluntarily left this review.
It was a really pleasant and interesting read!
The writing is very smooth, light and explanatory.
I loved the structure of the book, the various chapters and how the practice was described without being vulgar and without falling into banality.
Thanks to NetGalley for providing me with this e-ARC!
A great, informative book. As someone who has pegged I wish I had this book to access before my first time "strapping up". I learned a lot by literal trial and error but even being "experienced" with boyfriends, and subs it was refreshing to learn new things.
I really wished that I read this book BEFORE I started doing this on my own. I found this book informative and easy to comprehend. It is very reader friendly. Definitely something I will suggesting to others who are exploring this. I received this book as an ARC through NetGalley in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. I am the sole author of all of the opinions expressed in this review.
Such a helpful guide. The authors truly care about healthy and safe sex practices. The guide is super inclusive and very welcoming to all levels. The Pegging Book is not just sex positive but sex worker positive so that gets 5 stars from me instantly. Thank you, Cooper and Lyndzi, for being so welcoming and kind in this book. Definitely recommend for anyone that is curious about knowing more.
Lots of great information for the curious mind. The pegging Book by Cooper S Beckett & Lyndzi Millier.
Informative and entertaining all at once -- the disclaimers dragged on a little, but overall a very thorough resource.
If you are interested in pegging, then you have found the only book you will need. The authors take the time to explain anatomy, the physical act of pegging, psychological and sociological aspects of pegging, and even hardware in a down to earth manner. The book really has it all with all the humor and help that you would expect in a complete guide.
Thanks to NetGalley and Thornapple Press for an ARC of this book.
