Say a Little Prayer by Jane Redmond is a fabulous book if you search for a daily contact with God. These times are more than hectics, there are no more certainties and praying God remains sometimes the only option that we have. Divided in many sections, for presenting you inspiration, prayer is not just seen as an aspect that must be observed in particular in the morning and evening: you will discover that you can continue to pray God in every moment of your day, asking little and big things, being inspired by HIM.
I found the book friendly and close to the exigences of people.
I love these kind of books because they present calm and relaxation and a healthy contact with a Divinity that in many cases we don't see but we can feel close.
Highly recommended book.
I thank Netgalley for the ebook.

Pros: I loved that this book was right to the point and offered simple but impactful suggestions on how to create more time for prayer. That is exactly what the title said, and it did offer a number of ways to talk to God. Many people can struggle to find time to pray, or they don't know what to say or how long to spend in conversation with God, and both of those things can make prayer daunting. This book did offer ways to include prayer, even if it is for just a quick saying, and it made it clear that it is about quality and not quantity.
Con: It was really short. There was little development on the ideas of how to pray throughout the day. However, nothing was missing or left up to the reader to figure out. I just thought it could have been longer, but since this book is for those short on time, well, it makes more sense that it can be easily read in a short burst of time.
Lovely and inspiring book! The ideas are practical and poignant. So simple that anyone can find a handful to immediately incorporate into a daily rhythm.
This was a very quick, sweet book! It is definitely a flip-through book that you can read through in a day, though it is formatted by days 1-101. It is full of practical nuggets of different times to pray throughout your day and some specific things you can pray for. Here are a couple that stuck out to me:
"At night while brushing your teeth, thank God for three things that happened during your day."
"Have a difficult person in your life? Whether it be a manager, co-worker, spouse, or friend, ask God to help you to see that person as He does."
I do think this book could dive deeper into some of the specific prayers suggested or provide more Bible verses in relation to some of the suggestions. All in all, a sweet and quick read!

Description
Alongside pictures, Scripture verses, and quotations, Joanne Redmond suggests 101 ways to pray throughout your day. Because most of us drink coffee, make a purchase, brush our teeth, and pick up a phone, Redmond identifies these and other everyday moments as opportunities for quick but meaningful prayer. This little book will encourage you to pray without ceasing.
What a lovely book! From the delightful cover to the action-generating contents, this book should be on everyone’s bookshelf.
Say a Little Prayer 101 Ways to Pray Throughout Your Day fulfills every expectation! The author, Joanne Redmond, beautifully recommends wonderful, creative, mind-engaging, and heart-stirring ways to talk to our Heavenly Father. This book definitely helps the reader obey God’s command to pray without ceasing.
The Instagram-like contents are a win for all readers as each prayer concept is succinct and memorable. Supportive Scripture and quotations are used throughout this 176-page book to give the reader even more to think about when talking to our Sovereign Lord and Master.
When individuals find prayer dreadful, daunting, or dull, this book should be placed in their hands to help them see that talking with God should not be any of those things. When we recognize that a relationship -- any relationship -- cannot grow or flourish without open and honest communication, prayer becomes spectacularly satisfying and vivacious.
When we grasp that God Almighty loves us and wants to hear from us, there is no greater joy than to be in His presence and have ongoing conversations with Him. It is a privilege to pray -- to simply talk and listen to our Omnipotent Creator!
Say a Little Prayer 101 Ways to Pray Throughout Your Day would be a captivating and meaningful gift for a new Believer -- as well as a long-time Follower. Prayer is essential as we walk moment-by-moment with our Savior.

Thank you NetGalley and Joanne Redmond for allowing me to read this book.
I picked this book thinking it was a story but it’s not that at all. Instead it’s a list of prayers to guide you to become more prayerful over time. If you struggle with words during your prayer time with God, this book can help get you started.
If you struggle to find time to pray or aren’t sure how or what to say to God, this little book is a gem. It is full of practical ways to fit prayer into your everyday routine and gives even you examples of how to pray for certain things or people. After reading this little book, you won’t have an excuse to not pray again or feel guilty for not “fitting” it into your day because it makes it so easy.
FTC Disclosure: I received a complimentary copy of this book. These are my honest thoughts.
This collection of ideas of how to incorporate prayer into one’s daily routine was delightful, easy to read, and quite an encouragement. I already do many of the tips (I don’t find it odd at all to pray in the restroom, by the way), but there were plenty that were new to me. It was good to see the Bible verses and other encouraging quotes included.
I particularly appreciated that the author suggested one ask for patience if one needs it. I’m of that same opinion, and it’s worked rather well for me in the past.
The irony was that the author failed to include thanks to God in the acknowledgements for His help in writing this book about prayer.
I read this book in one day. It is an easy read. I loved it because it gave some wonderful ideas on how to pray during your day. I would definitely recommend for anyone who has trouble knowing what to pray for or finding the time to pray.
A fabulous collection of prayer ideas and prompts that can easily be fitted in to each day. An inspiring read that would make a great coffee table book that you can reach for when you need inspiration and would make a lovely display in your home as the book also has a brilliant collection of images. This book would also make an ideal gift for anyone in your life who is getting baptised or christened or celebrating an anniversary of either event.
I want to thank Netgalley and the author for gifting me the ebook. Beautiful cover.
This is a great book for Christian's out there. Praying is so important in my life, and I can't imagine getting through my day without doing my daily prayers. Highly recommend
A very quick read with some practical tips to pray more often. Some were repetitive, and others felt like facts rather than actual tips, but overall it was a great list. Artistically, it's beautiful too. The photos don't really seem to match the feeling, IMO - or maybe it was the way it was styled, with a small photo instead of something that took up the whole space. Either way, the feel of it was still modern and good.
It seemed ironic, though, that she wrote a whole book about how to pray more and talk to God more, yet she didn't thank God in her acknowledgements.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the free copy in exchange for this honest review.
Awesome!
This devotional is absolutely awesome! It is simple and easy to read and yet it offers great suggestions on prayer. The suggestions are significant and purposeful and show how to include prayer in simple ways. The suggestions are practical and easy to implement, such as praying during certain situations or times of the day. But most importantly, the suggestions offered are simple ways that will make a powerful impact on your prayer life.
Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with a complimentary copy of this book. All comments and opinions are voluntary and strictly my own.
A sweet book with some sweet ideas. Some of them were very simple, which can be a good thing, and some seemed a bit silly. The book does not seem to be for the purpose of extreme life changing information, but just a beautiful little help for those looking to add prayer to their day. I look forward to implementing some of the ideas throughout my day, even if not all of them were for me
This book was an easy read. Definitely could help you in your journal with prompts on praying. Wasn't too heavy of book. It was upbeat. She didn't mention thanking God. It was a little funny to me but to each their own. #sayalittleprayer
Thanks to NetGalley and Our Daily Bread Publishing for the review copy!
"Say a Little Prayer - 101 Ways to Pray throughout Your Day" by Joanne Redmond is a very beautiful book.
The layout in this book is extremely beautiful. You find pictures, scriptures, quotes and verses written shortly and beautifully. Also, it is a cute layout.
You can pray in many different situations, and that s what Joanne Redmond talks about in this book. She gives you advice to pray throughout the day and connect yourself to God.
It could either be a quick read or it could be a book you process each day. The book is divided into days, so you can actually get a new advice every day in 101 days. Such a great idea!
"Say a Little Prayer" is a very beautiful and cute book! Simple, easy, and beautiful!
Say a Little Prayer was a quick read that I chose because prayer is the greatest struggle for me in my walk with Christ. The cover is absolutely stunning— books with flowers on the cover always grab my attention.
I liked many of the suggestions offered [ex (paraphrased): to pray for discernment/time management when opening your phone to check social media]. Many of the suggestions were practical prayer prompts, but I would have preferred a deeper dive into these. Say a Little Prayer would have worked best as a prayer journal, with prompts and questions for each day, and then space to reflect. Since it wasn’t written as a journal, the prompts felt a little choppy.
I would have also liked to see more scripture through the book— more of a thorough dive into what prayer looked like in scripture along with each prompt.
Overall, Say a Little Prayer was a great concept, it just fell a little flat in execution.
Its a cute book with good ideas to help you rely on God through prayer throughout the day. It feels like very little information for a book though, and may have been more effective as a blog post or something.
Say a Little Prayer, 101 Ways to Pray throughout Your Day by Joanne Redmond was 5⭐️.
My days are made up of many responsibilities and just as many distractions. This book was helpful for just those situations. If you were like me when I started praying you might not have had any idea how to pray. I needed help and examples. This is just that! Suggestion and previous Christian who prayed a long the way.
I recommend if you need a reminder and or suggestions for a routine prayer life.
Thanks Our Daily Bread Publishing via NetGalley.
The author provides 101 different topic that we can focus on and pray about each day and throughout the day. This book is very helpful in reminding us of the many things we should be thankful for.
If, you're like me, readers may use sticky notes on your desk at home, or work. This book is very easy to read and understand. I do highly recommend it anyone desiring to strengthen their spiritual life.
Redmond wrote a gem of a book reminding us how to think of God and call upon God in even the most minute moments of our day. Gentle suggestions of things to pray for when brushing teeth, meeting a friend for lunch and putting on shoes. She offered great reminders to ask for discernment before spending money, going on social media, or grabbing the remote. I really enjoyed all the reminders and sweet suggestions of prayer. This isn’t a typical devotional where each day has a scripture reference and message. There is a minimal amount of actual scripture verses parsed through the book. I really enjoyed the messages and reminders in this book. They’re so simple yet so meaningful too.
4 stars
Absolutely delightful prayer book. I completely recommend this book to anyone. This little prayer book would make a great gift.
"When you have extra time to pray for friends and family, you can pray for someone whose names begins with "A," then "B," and go through the alphabet."
A variety of suggestions like this one are provided in this book about prayer. This book provides a variety of verses, tips and quotes about prayer. Because it is shorter in length, I think this would make a lovely little book to keep around to help your focus remain on prayer.
As someone who has attended church and practiced prayer for years, I would not say that I learned a lot of new principles. But I would say that the suggestions are practical ones and great reminders. Those who believe in God often want to pray more. This book could provide direction. Overall, the author did a good job of writing a book that could inspire others to pray more.
Due to the formatting of this book, I would recommend a tangible copy. The pictures would make more sense if they appeared next to writing rather than on a separate page. I also think it would be nice to put an actual bookmark in the page and stay with that particular prayer concept for a bit. While I know that you can make notes in an ebook, it is not really the same thing.
I did get to read an advanced copy of this book through NetGalley. I requested the book. All opinions are my own.
Great suggestions for when to pray in our lives. I cannot believe how many prayer opportunities I have that pass. I will begin to use these times wisely!
Its nice to have a reminder of blessings and a guide to practicing mindfulness/thankfulness. This book checked those boxes for me. I will be sure to purchase a copy and share with friends and family.
Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with this gem.
10 stars! Direct and concise. Loved it.
Thanks to author, publisher and Netgalley for the chance to read this book. While I got the book for free it had no bearing on the rating I gave it.
What a precious little book of opportunities. Giving me some wonderful ideas and theories regarding prayer. I found this book so inspirational. I love to pray. I do it a lot, and I regularly question my methods. Joanne Redmond confirmed that there is no wrong way to pray, and also gave me some additional ideas. I also enjoyed the quotations and pictures. This one’s a keeper, I loved it. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. This is my honest review.
This book, Say a Little Prayer is an easy read that inspires and motivates the readers with messages and scriptures. These one liners can help you communicate with God and pray before you begin your day. It's equal to having meaningful conversation with God. Great source of encouragement and has photography as well. Thanks to NetGalley and Our Bread Publishers for an ARC Copy for my honest review.
This book is perfect for anyone who is looking to get more prayer into their lives. These short, inspiring words will help build a closer relationship with God. I like that the prayers and short and will fit into my daily life.
Many thanks to the author and NetGalley for a complimentary copy of the book. The opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.
A very practical, useful book. One you can easily flip through and find exactly what you need in a time that you need a prayer for. Helpful for when you may struggle to know what to say to the Lord.
I love the suggestion to go through the alphabet and pray for someone whose name begins with "A", "B", etc.
This book is exactly what the title says it is.
This dear and powerful little book offers 101 suggestions for how to work prayer into, and make God a focus of, your daily life. It reminds us that there is no wrong way, place, or time to pray. A prayer can be a thought, a word, or even a breath. Interspersed with the suggestions are photographs and quotes.
My thanks to Our Daily Bread Publishing for allowing me to read a DRC of this book via NetGalley. All opinions expressed this review are my own and are given freely. Publication is set for June 6, 2023.
Short and sweet ideas of ways to pray throughout the day. It reminds me of Atomic Habits in combining actions you already do (brush your teeth/go to the bathroom) with cues to remember to pray. Would make a sweet 'gift book.' Wished that it included more artwork instead of pictures that felt like they were stock photos.
I received an eArc of Say a Little Prayer 101 Ways to Pray Throughout the Day from Our Daily Bread Publishing through NetGalley.com. I was not required to write a review or paid to do so. The words above are my honest review.
Beautiful little book full of ideas and suggestions for times to pray and the things to add to your prayers to spend more valuable time with God.
The Bible teaches us to pray without ceasing. How can we do that in a busy world? Is there an effective way we can pray especially in a world of short attentiveness and an increasingly attention-deficit world? How is it possible to pray all day? According to author Joanne Redmond, one way is to learn to pray short prayers throughout the day. She helps us expand our repertoire of prayer opportunities throughout the day with her "101 everyday ways to pray." It could be the start of the morning or the end of the day. It could be making a payment at a kiosk, reacting to a tense situation, typing on a computer, reading about troubles in this world, having a coffee, or just about anything that we encounter or do on a day-to-day basis. Each day has a specific idea for us to consider and practice throughout the day. Each short prayer idea is accompanied by an illustration, a prayer, a quote, a template, a Bible verse, or a prayer from selected spiritual practitioners. In fact, the brevity of the idea makes it an ideal pick-up prayer moment(s) each day. It is not meant to be skimmed through, but to be pondered and remembered throughout the day. When Redmond says it is a "little prayer," it literally is. After giving us a short idea, the length of prayer is really up to us. We can pray one long prayer from that idea, or we can have multiple moments of prayer throughout the day. We can also call these moments where the Spirit leads.
Three Thoughts
==================
Let me give three thoughts about this book. First off, I am reminded of Jesus' teaching to avoid babbling prayers. In the sermon on the Mount, Jesus warns us not to practice the Pharisaic forms of righteousness for self-gain. One of the key reminders is not to pray long prayers like the Pharisees to attract attention to ourselves when in public places. For such acts, there will be no heavenly rewards. He challenges his disciples to practice righteousness that exceeds the Pharisees and the religious leaders. Concerning prayer, that means praying in secret and not engaging in babbling long prayers. Even though God loves to hear our prayers, regardless of length, He is more concerned about the attitudes in our hearts. Making our words count and our hearts humble is a great way to please God.
Second, brevity is the in-thing. Growing up in a busy era where time management is the most common prayer request, I have many friends who want everything short and sweet. A few decades later, this desire has not dissipated. Instead, the mood to "save-time-so-that-we-can-do-more" has spread to many other parts of society. From long talks on the phone, people are preferring short texts. Across institutions, many speak in the abbreviated language. In a social media world, even abbreviated words are increasingly replaced with symbols and emoticons. With inflation these days, people try to get the most value out of their buck, which explains the modern maxim: "Do More With Less."
Third, it is hoped that this book can encourage us to pray more. Prayerfulness is a mark of a Christian. Prayer is trusting God to intervene in this world when things seem to be out of control. Most importantly, prayer is cultivating that relationship with God. Any book that can move people to pray more is always worth reading, and this is one of them.
Joanne Redmond is an executive communications leader who takes complex business concepts and creates succinct, easy-to-understand messages that inspire and motivate. She has a passion for helping people connect more frequently with God through everyday, practical ways.
Rating: 4.25 stars of 5.

The ideas in this book are broken down to cover 101 days, where the reader can dip in to find a prompt or idea either once per day, or whenever they want to. However, in order to review this book, it was necessary for me to read it cover-to-cover. I wouldn't recommend doing reading it this way, as the brief prompts are meant to inspire you to create your own prayer habits. It's definitely not an instructional manual where you need to read it front-to-back in order to understand or utilise the ideas.
I found the prompts really useful. The author creates space for the reader to be as flexible, structured, traditional, modern, loud, quiet, (you get the picture) as they want to be. I love how she comes from a "no wrong way to pray" standpoint. She debunks restrictive prayer "rules" that can leave us feeling disconnected, distracted, and disheartened about our failure to pray "correctly". It can be horribly off-putting and we can end up avoiding praying altogether. I think she does a great job of challenging this and offering a range of alternative ideas.
The author also suggests a great mix of prayerful activities, including speaking, writing, typing, singing, humming, dancing, visualisation, even crying! Tying these various methods into daily activities, like commuting, cleaning, exercising, or just showering, helps to provide a mental link/reminder to help you pray throughout the day, even if you've only got a moment to do so.
It's a lovely eBook, but I would definitely recommend grabbing a physical copy to dip in-and-out whenever you need a little helpful prompt to get the conversation flowing.
Say a Little Prayer by Joanne Redmond is due to be published on 6th June 2023.
Thank you to Joanne Redmond, Our Daily Bread Publishing, and NetGalley for providing me with a free advanced reader copy of this book for review purposes.
This is a great little quick read book with short ideas for helping us all to remember to pray more. Or give guidance for those of us looking for ideas on how to pray more. Cute little sayings, easy read, could read one page a day or go through the book quickly. I got some good ideas out of this book. Would definitely recommend to someone looking for ways to implement praying more. The ideas could be applied to children and/or adults both! This is my first book from this author, and would be willing to read more of Joanne Redmond books based off this one!
This was a enjoyable little book. Some of the information was very basic, but very good reminders. Some of it helped me think and realize how I can incorporate more prayer into my daily life. I do recommend this thoughtful book.
What a sweet, encouraging book packed with such powerful prayers. I appreciated that the prayers weren’t the usual topics, but ones that are very applicable to everyday life today. There was a good amount of scripture threaded throughout this read, which is so important when intentionally praying. I’d recommend this read to busy women that would like to incorporate more intentional prayers into their lives.
✨✨✨ARC REVIEW✨✨✨
Say a little Prayer
By: Joanne Redmond
Pages: 176
Release Date: June 5th, 2023
✨this is not like other arcs I have received from NetGalley this is a devotional so I will be reviewing it differentl✨
Thank you @netgalley and @ourdailybreadpublishing for this ARC.
Each day has a different idea on how to add prayer to your life. You can pick and choose or use them as prompts for the day! That is how I used this devotional and I thought it was a lot of fun and I started to look forward to what the next prompt would be!
Blurb:
Do you need to pray a certain way for God to hear you?
Many people think prayer has to be formulaic and complicated, perhaps while on bended knees. Joanne Redmond wants to help make prayer simpler so you can communicate with God more often and in any place. Alongside pictures, Scripture verses, and quotations, Redmond offers 101 ways to pray throughout your day.
Practical suggestions include "While brushing your teeth in the morning, pray for three things you need help with during the day" and "Any time you use a credit card or pay for a purchase using your mobile device, ask God for discernment in spending your money."
Each prompt will encourage you to pray without ceasing. Learn to pray wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
This prayer devotional book is absolutely amazing. We go about or days iin a rush and not realizing it takes 2 secs to thank God or to just say a little prayer but this book helps you implement ways to do just that. This was perfect!!!
God's word tells us to be constant in prayer, but sometimes we may find it difficult to make time to pray or even to know what to pray for. Joanne Redmond's book, Say a Little Prayer is a great reminder that we don't always have to carve out hours out of our day to formally pray, but that God desires for us to pray without ceasing by being in constant conversation with our Creator. Sometimes we make prayer harder than it has to be, instead we can make the most of every opportunity to focus on prayer.. Whether it's while brushing our teeth, exercising, or working in the yard are all opportunities to praise him and to pray.
I love the simpleness of this book, the included scriptures and the prompts to be in constant communication with our Lord. He wants us to praise Him, to seek wisdom, guidance, and help throughout the day.
For where else does our help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth. Psalm 121:1-2
Thank you to Netgalley for the opportunity to read this ARC for an honest review
this would be really great to keep on your shelf at home for times that you just don't have the right words or don't know what to pray! Great, quick prompts and good insightful quotes throughout
thanks to Netgalley, the author and publisher for an advanced reader copy!
This was such a wonderful heartfelt small book.
I recently regained my faith with Christianity. And I don't mean the faith of "oh I say I believe cause this is the religion most of my country practises" but rather actually feel God more closely to my heart than ever before.
Being more new to Christianity means I seek to understand how to honor God in the best way possible. And while I do recognise that he accepts me being human therefore far from flawless I do want to show my devotion to him in the best way possible - therefore praying has been kind of a big deal for me rn.
This book was wonderful because it's everything it promises. Its a very good guide full of ideas that both new and old Christians will find helpful. And while I don't plan on employing all the ideas presented I still am incredibly thankful to the author for creating this book and helping me guide myself on how praying more often.
🙏🙏Mercifully short, easy read that will boost your prayer life instantly.🙏🙏
I really enjoyed Jane Redmond’s Say a Little Prayer. It seems everyone is burdened by a full calendar and busy lifestyle, making it harder than ever to “pray without ceasing”. Redmond’s 101 suggestions for how to pray throughout your day are the perfect way to add more Jesus into that busy calendar. Her suggestions are simple, yet powerful. I enjoyed the e-book version, but I am planning to purchase a couple of the physical copies. I plan to purchase one book to add to my quiet time corner and a couple more to give as gifts.
Highly recommended this book.📚♥️
Thank you Our Daily Bread Publishing for putting out quality Christian content.
Thanks Netgalley for a copy of the ebook.
Full review to come on Goodreads and Amazon. Thank you to the publisher, author, and NetGalley for a review copy.
Say a Little Prayer, 101 Ways to Pray throughout Your Day is a practical book listing when and where we could say a prayer. Joanne Redmond points out how simple it is to always be ready to offer up a prayer of thanksgiving, gratitude or a plea for help in our daily lives. Not especially deep but oh so very eye opening.
The gift book list useful and concrete ways to spend your day focused on God and communicating with Him. Quotes by others are included in the list. The words that come to my mind with this simple book are realistic, sensible and down-to-earth. A welcome addition to any tabletop or area where you or your family could easily pick it up to read a suggestion or two.
4.5 Stars
The publisher through Net Galley provided a complimentary digital copy. I have voluntarily decided to read and review, giving my personal opinions and thoughts.
I was so glad that I was given the opportunity to read this book! It did not take a long time to read, but the impact lingered! It was easy to understand and put into practice. Short suggestions were presented, which made it so practical. It was easy to pick up any time for moments during the day. One example suggested on the way to meeting a friend, pray that God would open your heart to whatever He would like you to learn from them ( as well as meet their needs.) It was meaningful to be reminded about this idea to ask God to show Himself and His love to you, and then watch for the answer. The beautiful pictures added a lot, too.
I appreciate the publisher for allowing me to read this book. My thoughts are my own.
I really enjoyed this book. It was an encouragement to me as a Christian of 26 years. I know will be a blessing to others are newly saved or have been serving the Lord a long time. My only criticism is the scriptures were not all King James Version.
A quick guide of ideas for prayers. Would be good to have on hand at all times with whatever life throws your way. I received a free copy on Netgalley for an honest review. An essential guide for the Christian. Our Daily Bread is the publisher so you know it's good.
Great gift book for new believers. Was excited to find a few new suggestions for my own prayer life,
A nicely written and most enjoyable tips on how to pray. will be looking out for more by this author. Many thanks for my copy.
Say a Little Prayer
101 Ways to Pray Throughout Your Day
by Joanne Redmond
The simplicity of this book is what makes it so special and one I will purchase for friends and family. This 178 page book is packed with inspiring material. It serves as a daily reminder that prayer is simply the way we communicate and maintain our relationship with God in our everyday living. It is filled with scripture verses, wisdom, quotes, and pictures. I really liked it and I am so happy I found it. Thank you for sharing your creative gift with us.
Thank you NetGalley and Our Daily Bread Publishing for sending this book for review consideration. All opinions are my own.
This delightful little book gives the reader a 101 daily prayer ideas. Some of the ideas are ones that might be obvious to a person who prays or wants to pray regularly. Others are fresh and good reminders of ways to pray without ceasing. Also, you will find among the pages scriptural context for different kinds of prayers and times for praying. I found the book to be a lovely reminder for ways to sneak more prayer into my daily activities and a terrific resource to encourage me in my devotional time with the Lord.
I love this book! It's so empowering and uplifting!I just reviewed Say a Little Prayer by Joanne Redmond. #SayaLittlePrayer #NetGalley

Very good book. Easy to read with short synopsis. Lots of good advice on how to pray. Thoroughly enjoyed this book and would recommend it
A little book of encouragement on prayer.
“Sometimes we make prayer harder than it has to be” - it’s short and inspiring words that will help you build a closer relationship with God, as any relationship cannot grow or flourish without open and honest communication.
It’s a thoughtful and practical guide, simple and easy to use - it’s not a book of prayers but rather fresh, creative prayer ideas.
Using scripture verses, pictures and quotations, suggesting a 101 ways to pray throughout the day, incorporating prayer into everyday activities, identifying ways we can connect with God throughout the day, whether brushing our teeth, having a coffee or exercising.
God Almighty loves us and wants to hear from us.
Thanks @joanneredmond, @ourdailybreadpublishing & @netgalley for the eARC
Say a Little Prayer isn’t a “steps on how to grow your prayer life” book, but it is a beautiful book that definitely has the potential to grow your prayer life.. It’s a practical guide of suggestions of ways to include prayer throughout a typical day. It could be used as a “implement one suggestion a day for 100 days” resource, or it could be even more impactful by building some of the suggestions into one’s regular prayer life. Either way, the book provides easy ways to increase the amount of time the reader spends in conversation with God.
Thanks go to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read an advance copy of this book. All opinions are my own.
Say a Little Prayer: 101 Ways to Pray Throughout the Day by Joanne Redmond is a cute inspirational book. Say a Little Prayer has a short quote or verse that you can read to help you pray during the day. I used it as part of my devotion time and I liked the variety of topics in the book.. Thank you to NetGalley and the Publisher for the opportunity to read this book. My review is also on Goodreads.
I just reviewed Say a Little Prayer by Joanne Redmond. Thanks to Netgalley for the ecopy.
A little lovely reminder of being grateful for the things and people in life we can easily take for granted.
A good way to lift one’s spirits when one is convinced that the universe is conspiring against us.
Encouraging, easy to read, and beautiful . Love taking a day or two a day to lift my heart and spirit before I dive into the day. Godly inspiration for anyone, would make a wonderful gift to a new believer or loved one.
The stars were aligned for me to receive this book and read it at this time. If you have ever thought about incorporating more prayer time in your life, then this book is for you.
For me, I learned that the time I use to work out, is also the perfect time to "say a little prayer" instead of listening to music, pray thru the hard times as well as the good, and continue to pray for our leaders. We are told to pray without ceasing, but what does that really mean?
This book will encourage readers to do just that.
