I really wanted to like this one because the author is such a nice person, but overall it was not for me. I really did enjoy the romance mixed with the thriller plot – that is always a fun treat! I love a good romance and a good thriller. However, I just could not get into this one, something about it just felt off and didn’t work for me - it just felt out of sots and that there was too much going on. I think there is a lot of potential with this one, and I will be on the lookout for subsequent work from this author.

Thank you to the author, the publisher, and netgalley for this e-arc in exchange for an honest review.

I will not be leaving feedback on social media for this one.

Daaaaaannng! That ending! Its almost a cliffhanger but not really! Lol I can't wait for more though, which I guess is the point! Anyway! This book had it all! It had suspense, intrigue, action, cheating, murder, maybe a serial killer? A kind of a who done it and I shocking ending! The storyline was very interesting and kept me glued to my Kindle! I highly recommend reading this book! I'm pretty sure its going to be a series and I can't wait for more! don't miss out on this book it was well worth reading! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!

I enjoyed reading this fast paced suspense thriller. The budding romance between our two MC's was a nice addition to such an intense read.

The story begins with Jessica witnessing something she never should have seen, her neighbor David loading his wife's body into the back of his truck. By looking out her window she's now put herself and her son Bryce in danger, David knows she is a witness to what he did and had no intention of letting her live to tell the tale.

I won't go any further into the plot details because I think it's best to experience the twists and turns of a thriller first hand but I really enjoyed the storyline of this novel and would recommend giving it a read .

Thank you Net Galley , Backlit PR and Michelle Godard-Richer for providing me with an ARC of this novel.
