Description
Does this sound familiar?
6:00 A.M.: You get kicked abruptly by a small foot, and BAM—you’re awake! You immediately become resentful that you didn’t get a good night’s sleep. Never mind that morning routine you keep promising yourself you’ll get to. Personal development goals are out the window. Meditation is waving at you from a distance.
8:30 A.M.–3:00 P.M.: You did it! You managed to get yourself and the kids dressed, lunches packed, and drop-off is complete! Insert car dancing! Life is amazing! The perfect mindset for manifesting, you’ve heard. You continue to grind hard throughout the day.
6:00 P.M.–8:00 P.M.: Dinner is done, and you make yourself sit on the floor to play with your kids, because that’s what good Moms do. But your work is calling! That’s all you can think about. At least this glass of wine takes the edge off . . .
1:00 A.M.: You awake in a panic. How am I going to get more clients? you think. You enter a full-on “doubt spiral” and can’t see the way through. Then your kid comes into your bed. You pretend you’re asleep so your partner will carry them back to bed because you feel guilty asking for help.
Ugh.
This describes a day in the life—the highs and mostly lows—of an overachieving female mompreneur (at least that’s how it was for me). A mompreneur is a woman juggling motherhood and running a business. From one overachieving mompreneur to another, I’m here to tell you: this has to change, you deserve more, and there is a better way! Where results can flow, where you’re there for your kids, and where you live the life you’ve imagined—all through the pathway of self-care! When we finally give ourselves permission to take care of our own selves first, it has a profound ripple effect on our families, friends, and finances.
Abundant Soul-utions shows female entrepreneurs they can manifest it all—it just involves redefining what having it “all” means, having a shift in perspective on how to get there, and remembering and trusting who they are at their deepest core.

Every mom needs to read this book. Even if you don’t own your own business, this is an amazing book. From the first chapter I was having aha moments and wow throughout the entire book. I’ll definitely be implementing a lot of the things talked about in this book to my life and business.
When I saw this book on netgalley, what really intrigued me was the point that this book promised to address about work life balance and manifestation. Although I’m neither a mom or an entrepreneur, I’ve always had a very packed daily routine, even as a 16-year-old high school student, and now that I’ve graduated, responsibilities have doubled for sure. When I saw this book and read about it, I felt like yeah, maybe I could learn something from it.
I’ll be listing down below the contents the author has talked about, so hopefully, if either of these topics hit home for you, then you know what you have to do.
The book mostly focuses on three major points: Perfectionism, Self-Care and Manifestation. In the Perfectionism category, the author mostly talks about the constant nagging feeling we all feel sometimes of not being good enough. She also talks about time management and work life balance and how some of our childhood beliefs and experiences hold us back from achieving bigger goals and going after our dreams, which in turn makes “being perfect” like a far-off dream reality that one cannot achieve. She talks about setting boundaries with others, at home, at business and even with yourself and how boundaries help us get out our perfectionist rut and actually do something worthwhile.
Next, she touches upon self-care routines which links deeply with setting boundaries and work life balance. There are also exercises after chapters that are written in a step-by-step follow through pattern, so that you can do them as you keep reading.
She also talks about manifestation. Here, she mentions the law of attraction, the law of vibration and tips on how to have a higher vibration and achieve your dream. She talks about intuition as well.
Honestly, for me, I couldn’t find anything new that I could learn from this book. Most of the things that were mentioned were knowledge that I had learnt from my own first-hand experience through adulting. All in all, in my opinion, this book would be a great start for someone who does not have a lot of knowledge about time management, self-care routines (especially as a working mom) and is looking for a book to start learning about these topics.
So, this is more like a beginner guide for living a better life as a working mom. It touches upon these three topics majorly, so not a lot is given in detail and other than a few coach exercises, the information given is pretty much theoretical. Do not expect a lot of practical instruction-based information.
I’ll give this book a 3.5 out of 5 stars because I think this would be a great start for someone who as a beginner would like to learn more about having that bliss point balance in their work and home life. Best suited for moms obviously but I feel like everyone in general who are always swamped with responsibilities can also learn a lot and apply it in their own life, accordingly.
I hope you really give this book a try and I hope you enjoyed reading my review.
I would like to thank Netgalley, the author and the publisher for giving me the opportunity to read this ARC in return for an honest opinion.
