What a strange, fun cookbook. The recipes are so unique and I am excited to make a bunch of them. (The matcha and chilequilles are first for sure.) If you're an airfryer girlie, there are a ton of air fryer recipes, but if you're not (like me) every air fryer recipe has an adaptation for a conventional oven. I love that it starts off with help on how to access the best version of the ebook. But! What really sets it apart is that the ebook version has youtube links on how to do things. Are you confused about how to chop an onion? There is a link in the book that takes you to an insructional video. Can you not visualize the method Marshmello is discussing? There is a link for that, too. It's such a brilliant addition and honestly a fantastic use of the ebook medium.

Listen, I've been a fan of Marshmello, the Grammy-nominated artist for years. Now? Sign me up as a fan of Marshmello, fellow foodie, cook, and now, cookbook author! I didn't know what to expect when I first opened up "Cooking with Marshmello", but I was thoroughly impressed by how Marshmello created fun and easy-to-follow recipe for beginner cooks that fuses together American foods with Asian (Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Indian), Mexican, and South American flavours and ingredients to make them modern and unique.

Readers (like me) might first be confused as to what content or recipes this book contains as the table of contents only included the content headers (e.g., "Snack Attack", "Breakfast Club", "Dig In", etc.) and not the list of individual recipe names itself. However, I am happy to report that as you reach the content dividers, you will get a list of dishes and recipes included in each section. The beginning of cookbook also includes a some tips when it comes to cooking basics, pantry staples, and required kitchen equipment.

What I like the most about Marshmello's recipes is that they're pretty much beginner friendly recipes that uses equipment and ingredients that most of us already have in our kitchen and pantry. Most of the recipes only take under 30 minutes to cook and prepare. Out of the 75ish recipes included, only a handful goes over the hour-long mark (i.e. the "Shockwave" Stuffed Supreme Pizza that needs a few hours to proof the dough). I also like how Marshmello added in "Mello's Remix" or "The Mello Way" in some parts of the book that gives the readers an alternative way of doing things.

I think what makes this (e-book) cookbook especially unique are the accompanying links that hyperlink to Marshmello's cooking videos on YouTube. Not all recipes have hyperlinks, but a fair amount of mini cooking tutorials, guides, and recipes do have them. Every recipe is also accompanied by end-result photos which I feel is an absolute must across all cookbooks. So if you're a visual learner and love watching cooking videos, this book is definitely for you.

While flipping through, a lot of the recipes in the "Dig In" and "Glass Half Full" sections caught my eye and have already bookmarked them to try:
- "Shockwave" Stuffed Supreme Pizza
- Crunchwraps (Mello's Version)
- Pull-apart Cubano Sliders
- Meatball Parm Sliders (Feat. Garlic Buns)
- Smash Burger Supreme
- "Back it Up" Brazilian Lemonade Slushies
- Fruity Agua Fresca
- Mango-"Esti"-Lassi
- Matcha Bubble Tea
- Strawberry Horchata Milkshake
- Iced Masala Chai (Feat. Cold Foam)

Whether or not you are familiar with the Grammy-nominated, musician, producer, artist, Marshmello, you’ll definitely enjoy his cookbook, Cooking with Marshmello: Recipes with a Remix. It seems that talented artists of every kind are good at multiple things, and Marshmello is no exception. This cookbook is packed full of fun recipes that everyone will want to make.

Just like when he writes and produces his music, Marshmello uses his imagination to turn regular food into something innovative. Things like a Potato Chip Omelet, where he uses potato chips which soften slightly to make an omelet packed full of potatoes, or Mexican chilaquiles made with tortilla chips. The breakfast section has something for everyone, and the mouthwatering dishes will insure that nobody skips breakfast.

The main dish section features a giant meatball stuffed with spaghetti (very unique), as well as a giant stuffed pizza and several luscious sandwiches. No one will skip dessert with his simple, yet fun desserts that will tempt even the most strict dieter. Marshmello has also included smoothies and other drinks that are perfect for all ages.

The cookbook features a professional and mouthwatering photograph of every recipe, which makes it difficult to decide which to make next. The kindle version also features videos of the dishes that you can click on and watch them being prepared.

All told, Marshmello has outdone himself with this excellent and very fun cookbook. It will keep everyone busy with easy, delicious dishes that are a bit different from the norm.
