Description
I'm pushing thirty.
My career sucks.
And for some reason, my landlady has made it her life's mission to make sure I walk down the aisle. But this time - she's gone too far! She rented the other side of my duplex to a guy she claims is hot eye candy, and get this: he has his own business!
Yep! He is 'The Bug Guy - Licensed to Kill.'
He and I did not get off on the right foot for a slew of reasons. But then - my 30th birthday bash happened and in a rare departure from my normal behavior, I totally lost all social inhibitions (with the help of tequila) and awoke to . . . total confusion! Did I mention I was totally naked and The Bug Guy's tee shirt was under my bed?
Just when I thought things couldn't get any weirder - well, I was proven oh-so-wrong!
Advance Praise

Cute story. Clean romance. Definitely some surprises..The back blurb didn't exactly capture the book, but it made me wanna read it. Good twists at the end. I loved Brandon.
The book was very swoony and I truly enjoyed it. The suspense is great, and the plot is fun and entertaining. But I would love to read more of Brandon and Mallory's relationship.
Cute rom-com with likeable characters, amusing plot, and a little bit if subterfuge to keep things interesting. A great, feel good, weekend or vacation read when you want to kick back and just enjoy some fun.
Love an enemies to love book and this one did not disappoint!
Overall this was a great story with some funny moments and some good side characters that help bring the whole story together
I evite this book. The banter was cute between the two MC. I wish there was a little more to it, but the writer, you could tell that they enjoyed writing this.
In this slow paced romantic comedy we have Mallory who lives in a duplex, is great friends with her landlord, is at a job that she isn’t that fond of and struggling to do, and she is getting a new neighbor. Moving into next to her is Brandon, the Bug Guy, and when they first have an interaction it isn’t the best and they go back and forth with ugly notes to each other. The heart of the story was great with intense moments happening and their banter is hilarious, but at times there seemed to be almost too much happening and not enough interaction between Brandon and Mallory. There is a lot going on and the twists at the end surprised me and I loved when these two finally figure things out. Overall I enjoyed the friendships and banter because to me that made the story.
This was a cute slow burn enemies to lovers story about neighbors. The banter between Mallory and Brandon was hilarious and I enjoyed their journey from irritated neighbors to friends to business partners to lovers. Their nontypical jobs made the story unique. I got a little confused in the reason why Brandon moved to the area (which I won't reveal due to spoilers) but it did add some drama and excitement to the end of the story.
