Interactive books engage children and capture their curiosity. My kids love giving high-fives, as do many children. This children's book is short, sweet and includes what many kids love.. animals and high fives! We can never have enough interactive books.
Another short and sweet children’s book that, much like in the jungle in the same ‘series’, is engaging and interactive with beautiful bright colours and lovely illustrations! A really fun read to enjoy with your little one!
At the Farm is a fun interactive and easy read for children learning what animals are. It will also be helpful in teaching them how to read. I think this book would be great for it’s Intended audience.
This is the cutest interactive kids book! I love these because they are perfect for children to do and they're packed with surprises under each flap. Thank you NetGalley for early access to this cute and fun filled book that I can read to my niece.
I love the hi-five flapbook series.
They are just the right amount of fun, interactive, and in the series they are also based at the farm, adding a little bit of an educational element there.
I would definitely buy it for any kids in my life.
The illustrations are fantastic and who doesn’t love a flap book. This is a book that will be read over and over again I’m sure!
Eye catchy and cute! Will definitely keep the attention of short attention span children. The ending was the best.
At the Farm is a beautiful and absolutely adorable board book and a great way for toddlers to learn animal names while interacting with the book.
Another lovely Lift-the-flap playbook by Jess Hitchman.
In this At The Farm playbook, baby readers will meet five animals. Before moving to the next page, baby readers can have a wild guess of who will they meet next, because the lift-and-flap design only shows a few distinctive part of the animal friend.
Let’s high-five and make more new friends
Another delightful book in the High Five series, At the Farm introduces little ones to various farm animals and where they stay on the farm. It is engaging with a lovely cadence and nice illustrations. Sure to be a hit for any toddler.
With five double page spreads, At the Farm by Jess Hitchman is an extremely short book and just perfect for babies and toddlers. It carries a bouncy rhyming narrative that involves seeking and high-fiving five of the most common animals you would find on a typical farm.
Each double page is vibrantly coloured in a different bold colour, and integrates other farm items into the story such as hay bales, the chicken coup, and corn fields. It also has huge flaps for little hands to grasp and interact with the boo as their caregiver reads to them. fully embracing the peek-a-boo nature of the book. The repetition helps bubba learn and remember simple terms.
The book is suited to caregivers (and children) who enjoy books like Dear Zoo and Spot the Dog. It's cute, fun, and just the right length for children that find it difficult to sit still for too long. The pictures are simple and uncluttered but still very farm orientated to give an accurate portrayal about what they might encounter when they next visit the farm.
A very enjoyable that has kept its audience in mind throughout the creation.
It is another wonderfully illustrated, high-five gem of a book. With vibrantly colored illustrations, it is sure to captivate your children.
This is such a cute book for littles. Who doesn’t love farm animals and flap books? Great way to interact and bond with babies and toddlers
My children and grandchildren always loved flip books! This book is very cute. The basic farm animals are great for early learning and the illustrations are cute. Thanks #NetGalley
There are few things more exciting to a small child than an interactive book with flaps to manipulate! I loved the rhymes and upbeat tempo and know that this book will capture a child’s attention, especially that ending!
This is a great toddler book! I love having interactive books in my classrooms, it keeps their attention so much better! When I read this to my toddlers, they enjoyed making the animal sounds as well as giving all the animals high fives! The illustrations are great, and the rhymes are fun! Thank you NetGalley and the publishers for an advanced copy in exchange for my honest review!

This book is so cute and very interactive. This book shows children what animals are as they lift the flaps and interact with the book through out. A perfect gift for a small child and family.
Omg this is absolutely adorable!! High fiving is one of my toddlers favorite things to do, so he would love this book!!! Super cute, and farm animals are always a hit!
Who doesn’t love easy, quick, cute reads. Especially when they have farm animals and pop up pages! I feel like any parent and kid can get into this one!
ARC provided by, Quarto Publishing Group, in exchange for an honest review. My kids loved this book. Any parent knows kids love to give high-fives so they were pumped when the flaps opened! Plus my daughter is obsessed with farms so this was a win-win!
My daughter loved it! She loves animals and was able to guess the animal with the picture. I'll be buying this book for the animals and the flaps.
Little ones will be excited to find all the farm animals in this “behind the flap” farm book. With nice illustrations and an easy quick story you will be sure to read it again and again!
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Perfect starter book to read to baby. The pictures are vibrant, the words are catchy, and it starts teaching them animals. I will be gifting this to me niece and her new baby.
Thank you to Happy Yak and NetGalley for a free advanced review copy of this book. All opinions are my own.
This is a perfect book for older babies and young toddlers who are starting to pay attention to books as their grown-up reads aloud. The rhyming is very cute. I love that the baby can physically interact with the book, which will hold their attention, and in doing so is also learning to "high-five" at the same time. So cute! The parent in me is always tickled when the book ends by saying that it's time for bed, because, well, it's the truth!
This book is SO cute. I love how it has the pages that flip open. The interactive high five is super sweet. I can see a child getting excited to high five the farm animal.
Very cute and appropriate for a baby or younger toddler storytime! There are points of interaction for readers, such as high fiving the sheepdog, cow, and horse, and lifting the flaps after guessing who might be hiding behind the hay and corn field. The flaps are big enough that kids can help with lifting the flaps without worrying about ripping the pages.
