You can never go wrong with a Bella Osborne book. You are guaranteed friendship, love and a great plot.

This book is full of craziness and shenanigans (in a good way). It follows the story of Ros, who is trying to fulfill her dying father’s wish, by entering into a fake relationship with Cameron. Her friend, Darla’s story is also in the mix and I loved the two for one idea.

From start to finish, we are guaranteed great word building, lovable and relatable characters and an amazing story set in a fantastic location.

I loved the idea of mature characters and everyday working class people with everyday lives and problems. I loved all of the characters and was rooting for them. I loved the pairing Ros and Darla, Ros and Cameron, Darla and Elliot.

I didn’t want it to end and this is highly recommended for fans of women’s fiction, fake boyfriend and opposite attracts.

I received an advanced copy and the review is mine and voluntary.

This was a lovely summer escape! I am a big fan of Katie Fforde so when I saw this book recommended to fans I knew I had to get my hands on it. I was not disappointed. This is a romantic story with both funny and emotional aspects – and those two aspects are balanced well throughout. The writing is strong and pulls you in, and I enjoyed following these wonderfully developed characters. Is the outcome a little predictable? Sure, but I’m 100% ok with that. In fact that’s often why I pick up romantic comedies! It’s the journey that matters most to me while reading a romantic comedy and this journey was lovely.

Bella Osborne is fast becoming one of my go to authors so I was really looking forward to reading this one.

Ros has been brought up by her father, who is now ill, and overhears a conversation that her dad's last wish is for her to find love.

On discussing this with her friend Darla they come up with a fake dating plan. Ros decides this had to be treated like a business transaction as she will pay her date.

I found it difficult to take to Ros at the beginning but as the book progresses you understand why. It was lovely to see her develop and change. On the other hand, I took to Cameron right away but did feel he could be a bit too full on at times.

As well as Ros and Cameron, Darla also has her own storyline going on, in which I felt really sorry for her.

When you add all the character's stories together, along with Gazza the dog, you have a wonderful, heartwarming, emotional and fun read. This is one I would definitely recommend, a perfect summer read.

Thank you Netgally, Avon Books and Rachel's Random Resources for my gifted eARC.  I am leaving this honest review voluntarily.

In the world of work, Ros is a risk management expert – but she applies the principles to her life too. She keeps the people she works with at arm’s length – they’re colleagues, not friends – but best friend Darla has somehow managed to get through her defences. And when Ros overhears her terminally ill father worrying about her being alone when he’s gone, it’s Darla who comes up with a plan – introducing her to Cameron, in need of money to finance his studies as a mature student, and the whole idea of making her father believe that they’re in a relationship. Ros approaches it all like a project, getting out her home whiteboard and flip charts – but Cameron prefers to play things by ear, which might make her uncomfortable but certainly seems to work, as father Barry (and his exuberant dog Gazza) are entirely convinced and welcome him as part of the family.

Meanwhile, we have Darla’s story – on her uppers after a failed business venture with a former boyfriend, she’s homeless until offered some housesitting in a place going through probate. She’s done some pet sitting before – but the menagerie she finds herself responsible before is wholly outside her experience. Thank goodness for local farmer Elliott – rather tasty, a bit of a misery who rarely cracks a smile, but who comes through for her a few times when she desperately needs him to.

So, two tropes in one book – the fake boyfriend, and the enemies-to-lovers story – and I’ve rarely seen them done so well. Cameron is the loveliest man, but as Ros becomes increasingly attracted and relaxes a little, it seems there are real obstacles in the way of it ever being more than a commercial arrangement. And Darla – she adds a lot of the humour as she wrestles with the livestock, and gradually discovers that there’s rather more to Elliott than just helping out in times of crisis. The supporting cast is so well drawn too – including Ros’ mother, whose reappearance threatens to put a spoke in the wheels.

The character development is excellent, the slow burn romances entirely believable, the emotional elements perfectly handled, and the whole story – with a few surprises along the way – a thoroughly enjoyable read. Entertaining, escapist, uplifting and filled with warmth – I loved it, and highly recommend you add it to your summer reading list.

Another great book by this author I always love her books as they are always so warm hearted and full of fun. The relationship between Cameron and Ros is so obviously forming into something real and i love that Ros is willing to do it for her dad's peace of mind. Darla is a real fun character and I love her antics with the farm and the animals... not forgetting the hunky farmer of course... and she really gives the book the comedy element. Perfect light summer read

Bella Osborne - Finding Love At Sunset Shore.

Take two best friends, who are complete opposites. Add in a fake relationship, a grumpy hunky farmer, a cheeky pooch and an angry cockerel. Throw in some heartfelt emotion and a few funnies. Give it all a shake, and what you get is another gorgeous read from Bella Osborne.

#FindingLoveAtSunsetShore has characters that you will instantly like, sometimes feel infuriated with, but ultimately you will care about what happens to them.

I loved the friendship between Ros and Darla. It shouldn’t have worked, but it really did!

Cameron is the most perfect fake boyfriend. I fell a little bit in love with his sunny disposition and thoughtful kindness.

I am a huge fan of Bella Osborne’s writing. There is something about her books that is always relatable and she never fails to make me laugh with her down to earth humour.
I have read each and every one of Bella’s books and I can say, hand on heart, that they are all, without fail, a glorious place to lose yourself in.

#FindingLoveAtSunsetShore is quite simply a flippin lovely read. It is genuinely funny, has a big heart, warm and supportive friendships, family love, romance, hot book boyfriends and a menagerie of quirky animals. What’s not to love?

Finding Love at Sunset Shore is another heartwarming love story by Bella Osborne.

Sometimes, a bookworm just needs to read a charming, sweet romance, and this book checks off all those boxes. It's just a delightful read. There is just so much to love about this book. If you are looking for an easy, breezy romance to get lost in for the afternoon, then this book is for you. Bella's a great storyteller who keeps her readers entertained and engaged with what they are reading. Finding Love at Sunset Shore is a two-for-one romance, and what I mean by this is that we get to watch Ros and her best friend Darla find their perfect match. I loved the friendship between Ros and Darla. They have such polar opposite personalities but can have such a solid and deep friendship. Ros is very blunt, socially awkward, and sees the world in black and white. Darla is a big ball of fun energy and maintains a wonderful, positive attitude no matter what happens in life. They are so good for each other, and I loved their friendly and witty banter.

Ros and Darla are both fantastic characters. Ros, though initially prickly, undergoes a beautiful transformation as the story progresses. Her growing relationship with Cameron, who is a positive influence in her life, is a testament to the power of love and understanding. I'm not always a fan of fake dating books, but I loved this one. I devoured the reversed grumpy sunshine romance between Ros and Cameron. Cameron was such a great influence on Ros. He was understanding and charming and gently pushed her to try new things.

Finding Love at Sunset Shore is heartwarming and perfect for bookworms who are looking for a sweet pick-me-up read.

Blurb

My Opinion

Bella Osborne has yet to write something that I don't like, so I am always delighted when I see that there is an upcoming release. Finding Love at Sunset Shore was a lovely read and a great escape from reality. If you would like a holiday read, then look no further than this heart-warming tale. Ros and Darla are very different characters which just makes the book more entertaining.

Such a cute summer read. I'm a huge Bella Osborne fan and I loved this one.

Cameron and Ros were a lovely duo and my heart went out to Darla. Bella always manages to transport you to the pages and it was such a lovely story to be involved in.

I'm excited for Bella's next book, I just know it will be equally as amazing.

Bella Osborne never fails to write an uplifting escape that pulls on the heart strings and makes you want the protagonists in your friendship group.
I loved Ros from the start even though she struggles with making friends and letting her own guard down. It was a joy to see her take risks and find more positives than she bargained for.
With delightful characters, chemistry between Ros and Cameron, and Darla and Elliott it was an ideal romance for summer days and holidays

4.5 upped to 5
I believe that the fake-relationship trope has been a staple of romance for a long time, but Bella Osborne manages to infuse it with a contemporary twist in this novel. The central characters, Ros and Cameron, feel timeless—reminiscent of those you might encounter in a Georgette Heyer novel (with perhaps some economic differences). Ros seeks a partner to make her ailing parent happy, while Cameron needs financial support.
The story unfolds in a classic “what-can-go-wrong” scenario, leading to humorous situations, emotional moments, and a hopeful anticipation of a happily-ever-after (even if we’re fairly certain it’s coming).
Osborne skillfully weaves themes of filial devotion, friendship, and romance into a well-plotted narrative.
Ros is a woman whose social skills are quite poor and her life would work-caring for her father but she's friend with Darla, who works mac-jobs but is able to relate to anyone.
Cameron is the MMC: a kind mature student who needs money to pay his debts.
They're all fleshed out and realistic and liked how they interact.
A good novel, perfect if you want to smile or have fun with some well written romance.
Many thanks to Avon and Rachel's Random Resources, all opinions are mine.

Already a fan of Bella Osborne books, I highly anticipated a great summer read full of escapism and romance, with a dash of humour and great characters; and that is exactly what was delivered.
The characters are what makes the book for me, Ros – awkward, straight laced, Darla – Willing to take risks, sociable, hardworking and Cameron – charming, funny, kind to all. An eclectic bunch that compliment each other well. A special mention to Gazza the dog, what a fab name ha!
Ros’ Dad hasn’t long to live and upon overhearing he wishes she would find a boyfriend, Ros forms a plan that is the start of her ordered life becoming a little more… unplanned. Cameron agrees to be her significant other; he needs the money after all but it soon becomes clear that Cameron is more than Ros took him for. Cameron brings out things in Ros she didn’t know she had.

Darla has been a best friend to Ros, even though most people would have given up and she couldn’t be less like her. She is hiding out, taking on all the jobs she can to pay off her exes debts. When a new pet sitting job turns into more than she bargained for, can she ever get on the right side of the local, grumpy farmer.

Got to love a fake relationship storyline, especially when sparks are flying and it’s clear to see the characters are bringing out the best in one another. At the heart of the story, it’s about doing what is best for those you care about, trying to make others happy no matter what. All the characters learn something about themselves and face up to things from their past.
Romance at it’s finest. I enjoyed every moment and think it’s an ideal summer read.

A fun read from Bella Osborne which made me smile.
I really enjoyed the friendship between Ros and Darla - completely oppositive in nature but works so well together as friends. Ros, socially awkward and blunt to the point of rudeness at times and Darla, with that positive can do approach to everything, always with a smile, they seemed an unlikely pairing.
Ros in Cameron’s orbit was trying to be so brave and looking to try new things. His attitude, so like Darla’s, a good influence in her life, and little by little you could see him breaking through that protective barrier Ros had installed around herself.
A highly entertaining read and as Darla says ‘ a hug is the best thing if you’re having a bad day…’

I just love Bella Osbourne books and this one is no exception it’s an amazing read and I just couldn’t put it down.

I would highly recommend reading this book as it’s just so heartwarming.

I'm reviewing this via NetGalley, as part of a tour with Rachel's Random Resources.

On first impressions, I found this book delightfully funny, and that impression remained throughout. The protagonist, Ros, made me smile, and I related to her a little bit. In general, I found the characters humorous, both their behaviour and the interactions between them.

The romantic element of the story was heartwarming, but I also loved the portrayals of friendship and family relationships. There were some humorous moments that made me giggle while I was reading, and some deeper moments that warmed my heart too.

If you're looking for a romantic read that will make you smile, this book is an ideal choice.

Thank you to NetGalley, Rachel's Random Resources, and to the author and publisher, for the opportunity to read and review this.

Ros and Darla have very different personalities, but their friendship is deep, and they support each other. Darla has an unexpected but workable suggestion when Ros needs a fake boyfriend. Believable characters, relatable situations, and many humorous, poignant, and romantic moments make this an engaging read. Darla is still paying for her poor choice of boyfriend, surviving homelessness by taking a series of pet-sitting and house-sitting roles. The latest one offers her stability for many months but not without a few surprises. I like the realistically flawed characters you invest in, the comic and romantic moments and the emotional ethos of the story.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher.

Another excellent book by Bella. It has an unusual storyline but nevertheless it is a joy to read. Great characters and Gazza the dog. The book has a lovely, bright cover which screams out 'read me', if I was browsing the shelves of a bookshop.

Finding Love at Sunset Shore is hands down my favourite book by Osborne to date. It was an absolute delight to read and is the perfect escapism for the summery months.

It's not very often the settings in a book evoke memories, but the descriptions of the Isle of Wight transported me home immediately. It was my home for fifty years before I moved across to Southampton where the story takes place. Sunset Shore is reminiscent to a place called Weston Shore that's not too far from me. I had no idea that cities had beaches until I moved.

Anyhow, I digress...

The characters are realistically flawed and were so easy to emotionally invest in. And not forgetting the tropes...it came complete with several of my absolute favourites...fake dating and friends to lovers.

I love Osborne's writing style, she knows how to pull you in and hold your attention until the very last page is turned. She is one of my favourite authors for heartwarming, romantic comedies.

This follows the lives of two very different best friends Ros and Darla who are both trying really hard to please their parents. Ros' father has terminal cancer and he truly wants her in a relationship so he knows she's going to be ok. Darla gets her other friend Cameron to fake date Ros and they end up falling in love despite them being complete opposites. Darla is up to her eye balls in debt after her ex fleeced her so she flats sits and ends up looking after a small farm where she meets the grumpy, hunky farmer next door. They two end up together. All in all they both get their HEA's. A nice jaunt of a book with a few laughs along the way.

Yes! Bella Osborne at her best. Great setting. Great characters. Great story. Great romance! I can't wait for her next.

Totally loved this latest heart warming story from Bella Osborne about the trials of life with all the ups and downs for Ros and Darla in Southampton on the south coast of England.
Ros is a workaholic but is very close to her dad, who has recently been unwell with a life threatening condition, Ros is trying to fill his last weeks with care and love. Her best friend Darla juggles multiple day jobs and pet/house sitting in order to pay off debts left by her awful ex-boyfriend.
I loved all the highs and lows this book brings, the capers, adventures and more. At the heart is the true tale of love, friendship family and more! This brings warmth to the soul, a smile and is a hugely engaging and enjoyable read!
I know Southampton well, and recognised a lot of the places described, brilliant!!
Fabulous holiday read, highly recommended and totally loved!!
Thank you NetGalley and Avon books for the early read, loved it!!

I always look forward to reading a new book by this author and yet again I'm not disappointed. Ros is very logical, thinking everything through carefully, and struggles to make friends apart from Darla, who has somehow broken through her reserve. When Ros decides to get a fake boyfriend so that her father, who has a terminal illness, won't worry about her when he's gone. Enter Cameron, who is totally unlike Ros, who agrees to act a her boyfriend. I felt for Ros her struggles with relating to her colleagues at work and it was interesting seeing how her relationship with Cameron gradually changed her. Darla also had her own storyline, struggling to clear the debts left by her ex and was working three jobs to try to do this. With these two women's stories developing I really enjoyed this book, engrossed from the beginning to the end.
I received an advance copy of this book from the publisher through Netgalley, however this did not influence my review of the book.

Thanks to the Publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.

I enjoyed this book.

Ros and Darla are friends, but each is different from each other, Ros likes to think everything through before she agrees to anything. Whereas Darla has a bubbly personality.

Ros is employed in risk assessment, and Darla is working in three different jobs, her relationship ended and her ex left her with a lot of debt, which she’s now slowly paying off.

Both of them are happy as they are, but Ros begins a fake relationship with Cameron. Her Dad isn’t well, and she doesn’t want him to worry about her being left on her own.

It was lovely to read how Ros changes her thought process after Cameron comes into her life.

I recommend this book.

The two main female characters Ros and Darla are completely different. Ros is very black and white in her thinking, which made her hard to relate to, but she has a good job and a lovely apartment and a wonderful dad. Darla's life is more of a mess, she's not honest with her parents about how big a mess it is, but she is a really lovely person and someone I could easily picture being friends with. Cameron, Darla's friend and Ros's fake boyfriend is such a lovely character. He just exudes sunshine and anytime he was around I wanted to smile. His effect on Ros making her more grey instead of black and white was also lovely. This story had some funny moments and some touching ones and was overall a heartwarming story to read.

I wasn’t sure I’d like this book: the story outline didn’t initially grab me. However, I absolutely loved it from start to finish. It is so well written, full of warmth as well as humour. I really empathised with Ros and her position with her work colleagues. I definitely recommend it.

This is a very lovely tale of two women, their lives and the romance that they wish to have. Their escapades are all wrapped up in cleaning blood out of yacht decking, working three jobs, avoiding intimacy and running a menagerie of farm animals that are awake at all hours. The book has a tender centre with some lovely moments between the couples, but also some very very funny moments that the women cherish - be that sorting out a lame goat or working out a risk register. One to read to put you in a happy place.

Gazza the dog has stolen my heart 🐶💕
Ros’s dad is terminally ill, she overhears him saying to her uncle that his only wish was that Ros could settle down before he dies 💔
Darla her best friend arranges for her to meet Cameron who’s is on hand for a price to be her fake boyfriend. Ros is so serious, the idea sounds preposterous but it could work…..she needs to make it work.
I also enjoyed Darla’s story too with local farmer Elliott, I really liked him!
This was a great read on a cloudy summers day.
Thank you NetGalley, Bella Osborne and Avon Books for this ARC, all opinions expressed are my own.

Bella Osbornes books are always a delight to read- wonderful characters dealing with life's problems.
Ros has a high flying career with limited time to sit back and smell the roses. When she overhears her dad wishing that she was settled down before he dies, she agrees to her friends plan to get a stand in for the role. Cameron is so lovely and although he's startled by her flip chart approach to setting the framework for being a pretend boyfriend, he works so hard to get her to see there is more to life than she allows herself.
Her friend Darla is also dealing with her own problems and taking on various jobs to get herself out of debt.
A really heartwarming story with great characters , including Gazza the dog. It's lovely watching the characters go through their various challenges and how things work out for them.

Happily single, Ros's life is just how she wants it - an engaging job, a lovely home, and a good friend. There is just one snag - with her mum out of the picture and her dad unwell, she over hears him wishing she had a partner. Ros is very close to her Dad and is trying to make his life as easy is possible, and comes up with the perfect plan after meeting Cameron through a mutual friend, Darla - Ros will pay him to be her boyfriend! With a carefully prepared script and backstory, she introduces Cameron to her Dad and initially all goes well, However, before long things start to unravel with some unforeseen consequences for Ros. The novel's second storyline follows Darla, who is trying to get back on her feet following a disastrous relationship. A fun, light read about the importance of friendship and the power of love. I particularly liked the careful construction of Ros's character - she is probably on the spectrum and for this to be included in a romcom is rare. Great for fans of Jane Linfoot, Julie Caplin and Alex Brown.

Gorgeous story from Bella Osborne. I found this a fun and easy read and it was perfect entertainment for a wet summer weekend!

This is as much about female friendship-about Darla and Ros- as it is a rom com with fake dating. Darla's broke thanks to her rotten ex but she's lied to her parents about being in Europe and instead is cobbling together jobs, Ros's dad Barry wants to see her happy in a relationship and she wants to make him happy. Cameron can use some cash so when Darla introduces him to Ros, they agree to fake date in front of Barry. Fans of the genre know how that's going to go and while I liked that aspect of the plot, I enjoyed the Darla-Ros parts more. Regardless, Osborne knows how to tell a story that will keep you turning the page.

At first I thought I wasn’t really going to enjoy this book but I was soon hooked. Ros took a lot of time for me to like, but I straight away liked the character of Cameron and Darla.

I don’t feel that the title of the book really matches up with the storyline but overall it was a very enjoyable read and I liked that you got to hear from both friends point of view.

Loved, loved, loved this book. A real feel good hug of a read with easy to relate to characters with some laugh out loud moments along the way.

Darla and Ros are friends, living in Southampton, and both trying to hide secrets from their parents. Darla is recovering from a broken relationship which has left her in debt. Whilst her parents believe she is touring Europe, Darla is working multiple jobs including house and pet sitting to settle the debt.
Ros needs to find a boyfriend so that her Dad, who is dealing with cancer, can't alleviate his worries of her being alone after his death.

Brilliant storyline which shows the depths individuals will go to to protect their loved ones.

Highly recommend a read, just brilliant.

I did enjoy this book, it is concept that has been used many times before but this had a different twist and feel, it follows two friends through their different situations and the way it is written keeps you wanting more, all the characters were likable and a few of the situations were very believable.

another great book from Bella, pick up this book and enjoy!

It took some time for me to get into this. I think because Ros is not a particularly warm person so it's hard to really like her. She is very black and white. No shades of grey.
Ros overhears a conversation between her dad and his brother, so her best friend Darla sets out to find a boyfriend. Thus turns out to be Darla's colleague Cameron. Although only on paper.
Darla is holding down three jobs thanks to ex-boyfriend Patrick. She is paying off debts that he incurred. She gets a housesitting job but doesn't realise it comes with animals. Along comes Elliot, who lives next door, who happens to be a farmer.
Some funny moments. Ros does eventually chill, and there are happy endings all round.
A perfect summer read.
Thanks to Netgalley and Avon Books for the ARC in return for an honest review.

I’m never disappointed with a Bella Osborne book, you know you’re in for a treat. This is a story of friendship and helping others as well as a romantic relationship arc. More serious issues around abandonment, losing parents and terminal illness are addressed sensitively. There’s also a huge chunk of humour. This is an excellent summer read that I recommend.

I went totally off piste with this one. A complete departure from my usual choice of read, but I was intrigued by the ‘blurb’ and really wanted to know more. I wasn’t disappointed either, and, in fact, got a two for one. Not only was the story about Ros and her ‘pretend’ boyfriend Cameron, organised by best friend Darla to stop Ros’s terminally ill father worrying about her lonely future without him, but also Darla’s own entanglement with farmer Elliott.
Homeless Darla survives by house and pet sitting for clients. Occupying a house while probate is settled sees her coping with an interesting menagerie of both furry and feathered friends, with some laugh out load moments. Local farmer Elliott provides the love interest, although to begin with he’s not at all amused with Darla’s chaotic attempt at animal husbandry. And serious business-like Ros has her work cut out convincing her father Barry that Cameron is for real, while attempting to deny her growing attraction for this charming fake boyfriend.
I thought Cameron was such a great character. Kind, supportive, taking everything in his stride – and he could cook! All in all, the kind of man any girl could easily fall for. He also bonded well with Gazza, Barry’s boisterous canine. More importantly, he begins to break through Ros’s hard shell and show her how different her life could be if she would just learn to relax a little. A great entertaining read.

I would like to thank Harper Collins, the author and Netgalley for an ARC of Finding Love at Sunset Shore in exchange for an honest review.

An enjoyable light read perfect for taking on holiday. I wasn't sure about the characters at first especially career girl Ros but she grew on me as her character developed although still irritating at times, the same with Darla. Cameron was an absolute delight as was Elliott with Gazza the dog an absolute star. Set in Southampton which makes a change venue wise the story is somewhat believable overall and certainly has some quite humorous in part especially Darla's attempts at livestock management or her attempts to convince her parents of her location. Fairly gentle with a feelgood factor. Not one of Bella's best but worth a read all the same.

I'm a big fan of this author, and I love this new book from her!! This is a standalone read and it was the perfect piece of escapism...just what I needed!! We meet Ros and Darla who are two best friends. Darla is a lovely bubbly character who, after a disastrous previous relationship, is trying to get her life back on track. With nowhere permanent to live, she's house/pet sitting and finds herself looking after a bunch of farm-yard animals, with only grumpy neighbour Elliott for help and advice. Ros is completely different to Darla, and likes to live her life a little more cautiously. Her father is terminally ill and the thing he would like most is to see Ros happy and settled with the man of her dreams. When Darla lines up a "fake" boyfriend, Ros finds herself going along with it for the sake of her dad, but is Cameron really the man for her?!!

This was a fabulous book!! It was such an easy read and so easy to get caught up in! There was a great bunch of characters nestled amongst the pages, and whilst Ros, Darla and Cameron were the main characters, I also loved grumpy farmer, Elliott and Barry, Ros's dad (although Gazza the dog was the star of the show!) The storyline was fun, but there was some more serious topics throughout, particularly with Barry's terminal cancer diagnosis. I did find myself wiping away a tear or two at Barry's story, but these were soon replaced with laughter at Darla's farmyard antics and Ros's flipchart! I really connected with all the characters, but Cameron was definitely my favourite and I'd love him to be my fake boyfriend (just don't tell my husband!!)

The storyline flowed along so well and was told from Ros and Darla's perspectives. It was absolutely wonderful and I couldn't put it down once I'd started!! If you're looking for a light-hearted, funny and warm read, then I'd definitely recommend this one. This author is one of my favourites...and this book shows why she is!! Loved it!

Thank you to netgalley and publishers for an advanced copy of this book for my review. For me this was a bit of a slow burner but it soon picks up speed & you become really invested in the story. Ros is a bit of a rigid character & very much stuck in her ways, so when she overhears a conversation from her father sharing his worry about her being on her own when he's no longer around, her friend thinks she has the perfect solution. I absolutely loved seeing how Ros blossoms with the help of her friends input. A thoroughly captivating & engaging story that I heartily recommend.

I have always loved Bella Osbornes books and Finding love at sunset shore was no exception! This book was a total delight from start to finish drawing me in from the start, I so enjoyed every page and really didn’t want it to end!
Based in Southampton which is literally just down the road for me in Salisbury I could easily envisage the local landmarks and settings such I loved!
Great characters in Ros, Darla and Cameron , all so very different but each bringing such depth to the storyline, Ros rather set in her ways and very risk adverse, Darla down on her luck, very hard working and sees the best in everyone and finally mature student Cameron who sounded like the ideal man!
A fantastic storyline showing the depths people are prepared to go to for their loved ones, the importance of second chances and above all hope and resilience.
The most wonderful summer read I would highly recommend
Thank you NetGalley for this early read

I love Bella Osborne books and this was no exception. Ros, Darla and Cameron are great characters, and don’t forget Gazza the dog!

Ros was a difficult character to relate to at first, she was too rigid and standoffish as everything was black and white, then she needed to enter the grey area and that was when her character really started to develop. Bringing Cameron into her life really opened her up and he gave her the space to look at herself and see that some changes are good.

A pretend relationship that becomes real, a cliche maybe, but I really liked the self examination and reflection on friendships and relationships. Cameron is able to suggest other ways for Ros to interpret behaviour and offer solutions on how to make friends- solutions that actually worked as her arch nemesis becomes her friend.

Darlas story line was interesting too, a mountain of debt and an ex who gave it to her. I’m amazed someone can make a living house sitting, it sounds almost ideal.

An easy read that would be a perfect for la y summer afternoons.

As an Isle of Wight fan I loved hearing about the twinkling lights of the island and the Solent. It had both the countryside and sea to evoke lovely memories and feelings. It was a great book and I really liked how Ros unfurled from her prickly risk averse ways to become more of a rounded human. I really got to grips with the characters and was rooting for them. Thank you NetGalley for this arc in exchange of an honest review.

What a beautiful heartfelt romance. As someone who just lost her father I could relate to this so much. I wanted similar things before my father passed but unfortunately that was not the case. I was able to live vicariously through this book and I laughed cried and loved it!

A gorgeous and heartwarming summer read full of love, laughs and sunshine. I love Bella Osbornes books and this one didn’t disappoint, as always beautifully written and the epitomy of romantic escapism. The characters are relatable, the story line has enough twists and turns to keep the pages turning and I will definitely be reading it again.

This was a fantastic read. One of the main characters had my name and that took a bit of getting use too. A lovely story of trying to please parents, building a new life, trying to stop being a control freak , falling in love and lots of animals Bella Osborne at her best. I could not put it down.

Bella Osborne can always be relied upon for a first class read and this book is no exception. The characters are well crafted and neuro diversity is well handled. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I loved reading this easy-to-read and delightfully funny book that left me thoroughly entertained. The story centres around three main characters—Ros, Darla, and Cameron—who are wonderfully authentic and engaging. Their interactions and individual journeys are both relatable and heartwarming, making it easy to become invested in their lives.

The book skillfully blends romance with a compelling storyline, keeping the reader engaged from start to finish. What stood out most was its portrayal of true friendship and the importance of accepting people as they are. The themes are woven seamlessly into the narrative, offering both humor and poignant moments that resonate deeply.

Overall, this book is a delightful read that balances light-hearted humor with meaningful insights. It's perfect for anyone looking for a feel-good story about love, friendship, and authenticity. Highly recommended!

What a wonderful book full of some very interesting characters and a cheeky Cockerell.

There were some tough talks, all kinds of food, animals, family, friends and work colleague dynamics that encouraged acknowledging each other's differences with patience, an open mind and something Bella does best....humour! Darla was my absolute favourite ♡ but Ros was a power house, there was so much more than love found at Sunset Shore.

Another fabulous, uplifting sunshine read!
