Description
January 2009. In the midst of the financial crisis, a mysterious figure, Satoshi Nakamoto, publishes the Bitcoin code. The disruptive power of this digital currency is enormous, as it has been designed so that it cannot be controlled by any banking or government authority and allows for completely anonymous transactions. Special Agent Harris is assigned to find out who is hiding behind that identity. Meanwhile, a powerful cybercriminal organization is also searching for Nakamoto and will stop at nothing. Ada, a young prodigy studying in Barcelona, and L30n, an elusive hacker, will be swept up in this pursuit.
Reality and fiction intertwine in this techno-thriller that weaves a tense plot exploring the power of money and technology.
Advance Praise
"Love a great sci-fi book with a strong female lead! This is IT"
"This book immediately drew me in with its electrifying story and the mystery surrounding Satoshi Nakamoto. It felt like a thrilling blend of Dan Brown and Stieg Larsson, packed with suspense, technology, and a touch of romance."
"The ending is quite a surprise. However, don't race to the last page when you get the book. it won't make sense if you haven't read all the twists on the way to the end. I really enjoyed this book because it reminded me of William Gibson."
"I wasn't sure if I was going to feel a little lost reading this book given the nature of the e-currency plot (personally I'm not too well versed), but I wanted to branch out and try something new and man am I so glad I did! In contrast to a lot of other Amazon indie books out there (a lot seem rushed these days) this one really grabbed me. It was hard to put down and kept me guessing, and the characters? Perfectly mysterious and at the same time so relatable. This book has the perfect combination of old-world and futuristic technology sprinkled in, and believe me, even if you haven't kept a pulse on bitcoin and the world of digital currency, you'll enjoy this. I'll be looking forward to the next book by this author!"
