Description
Splatter (adj.) - characterized by extreme or excessive gore or violence
Punk (adj.) - often referring to a musical genre of short, fast-paced songs with hard-edged melodies and singing styles, stripped-down instrumentation, and often containing subversive lyrics and social and political commentary.
You're curious, but you don't know where to start.
Let The Splatter Club take you on a journey through the bizarre and disturbing side of horror.
Formed in 2016, the club’s goal is to connect readers with authors they might never find advertised in mainstream horror.
Volume III offers 14 stories, including your backstage pass to the 2023 Gross-Out Contest at Authorcon II, featuring the winning story and the three runners-up.
If you’ve got a strong stomach and dark sense of humor, then welcome to the club. We’re glad you’re here.

A Note From the Publisher
Not all splatterpunk is created equal. Over the years, Blood Bound Books has curated a series of stories that encapsulates what we think represents the genre well. Our anthologies blend deep story-telling, alongside gratuitous violence and dark humor.
We believe in blood, guts, and story. Some of these stories might offend you. Some should make you laugh. All of them should make you think. But not too hard. They're just stories.
Advance Praise
Praise for the editor and authors of the series:
"There's a new generation of horror writers bursting onto the scene, and K. Trap Jones is one of the leaders of the pack." ~ Edward Lee, author of Header
Fantastically warped and wonderfully twisted, John McNee is a writer with a towering imagination, and he knows how to use it."
~Victor Gischler, Edgar Award-nominated author of Gun Moneys and Deadpool: Merc with a Mouth.
"Nikki Noir is a sultry new voice in erotic horror, one you should watch as closely as a black widow in your bed sheets."~ Kristopher Triana, Splatterpunk award-winning author
Marketing Plan
Not all splatterpunk is created equal. Blood Bound Books feels that the three-book series they've curated is a fantastic representation of the genre.
Since the goal is to bring awareness to the mainstream, we're looking for as many honest reviews as possible.
Due to the graphic nature of this literature, it can be especially popular on social media. If you are active on IG, TikTok, etc, and enjoy the book, consider connecting with us for promotional collaborations on the next release including physical ARCs.

Welcome to the Splatter Club III is pure grossness, gore and extreme body horror at it's finest. This one proves that third time is the charm, with the pacing of the stories on par and each giving its absolute best. While there were some standouts, none left me wanting to skip along - which means this is a pretty great anthology.
Certainly not for the faint of heart or the weak of stomach. But perfect for fans of all things splatter and extreme. Thank you to NetGalley for an advanced copy. This one is available now!

I love the entire anthology in this book! This has the perfect splatterpunk gorey fun. My personal favorite is "You're mine now," a oddly heartwarming story about a man being possessed by a demon. This book has everything ranging from revenge all the way to demonic possession. I'm glad that NetGalley gave me the chance to read this book early in exchange for my honest review
This was such a nasty, gross, fun collection to read. Seriously, there were some stories that had me dry heaving (“Lick Your Fingers” by Chris DiLeo), laughing out loud (“The Chiropractor” by Aaron Thomas Milstead), and questioning my own sanity while reading (“A Moist Day at the Pool” by Lucy Leitner).
I loved this collection, but my favourite story had to be “Parts” by Arlo Gorevin. It was a mixture of gore, violence, and poetic moments. A new take on classic characters created such a unique tale.
I haven’t read the first two Splatter Club books, but now they will be going on my TBR list.
Thank you to NetGalley, the editors and authors, as well as Blood Bound Books for a copy.
First off, as soon as I saw Nikki Noir and SC Mendez back together for a collection of short stories, I knew I had to get my hands on a copy! These two make splatter for the fans! In this collection, I’ll try not to post any spoilers but seriously, if you’re looking for something to sink your blood obsession in, look no further. Welcome To The Club Vol. 3 is a full on splatterfest from cover to cover and each story is uniquely different.
A highly recommend for those looking to indulge on comfort splatterpunk.
