As an heir to links and abilities beyond imagining, Llad Fleck never considered that powerful men wanted him dead. He never heard the legends of his Viking ancestors and their extraordinary talents―or how they died. After failing every extrasensory aptitude test at the psychic labs of several prominent universities, Llad is certain he has no paranormal abilities. He’s happy to remain just a regular dude, even though the men he plays ball with still complain about his “mad skills not suitable for a teenager.”

When multiple murders shatter Llad’s life, he doesn’t know who is behind the brutal slayings or why he’s involved. He finally realizes that he is struggling to stay alive against a fanatical mega-corporation craving the secrets and treasures of his fore-fathers.
