Before his untimely death, Martin Luther King, Jr. launched what is known as the Poor People’s Campaign, an effort to achieve economic justice for the most disenfranchised in the United States. The cause aimed to help the downtrodden regardless of color or creed.

Restore Together: Urban Ministry in the Context of Technology and Energy in the 21st Century by Dr. Louis Hutchinson III is rightfully perceived as an extension of King’s Poor People’s Campaign. In it is a roadmap to collaborative reconciliation for the church, the individual, organizations, and corporations to come together and end social injustice. And, at its core, lies a vehicle with which we are intimately acquainted: technology.
