Description
Dating is hard. Especially when you find yourself smack in the middle of someone else's bad breakup.
There are three things July Forth knows:
1. The inn she owns gives people who stay there dreams that come true.
2. John Adams had his heart broken in front of everyone in her lobby.
3. She probably shouldn’t take in strays, even if they’re tall, brooding, and handsome.
July’s best friend warns her not to fall for the man whose girlfriend got caught cheating on him in the middle of the Dreamkeeper Inn. It’s not like she does it on purpose. He needs help. Someone to let him know he’s worthy.
But, the more she gets to know him, the more she finds out just how worthy he is. He’s kind, and willing to drop everything to come to her aid when tragedy strikes. He’s everything she didn’t know she was missing. It doesn’t matter that he isn’t ready to love someone just yet. She can’t control her heart any better than her best friend can.
If John can learn to open his heart again, will the inn give them a dream worth chasing?
July’s Dreams is part of the laugh out loud Calendar Girls rom com standalone series, which can be read in any order. If you like lovable characters, plenty of sarcasm, and friends who become family, then you’ll love Stephanie Erickson’s hilarious love story.
Trigger Warning: July’s Dreams deals with infertility and miscarriage among secondary characters who are married. I am keenly aware of how sensitive this topic is, and if you find this triggering, July isn’t the book for you. I am deeply sorry for your loss(es).
