When Bailey Philipelli arrives in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, she is fleeing one more devastating event in her young life. With no plan to remain there, she soon feels comfortable in this small community and finds friends at the local restaurant and bar. Meeting local man Colton “Cole” Kintala brings a feeling of attraction that she had not expected, especially after her recent anguish. She knows that she shouldn’t stay in one place as her ex will be searching for her, but she is finally enjoying some peace and a promising chance at a new job, a future and maybe love? She realizes that her new boss seems attracted to her, but between her interest in Cole and the chance to move forward and succeed it is too much to ignore. She hopes to be safe and have a better future, finally. When the past comes back to threaten her, will she have to run again and leave Cole behind? I had not read anything by this author, but I truly enjoyed this book and look forward to reading the first book in this series, “The Ties That Bind”.
