On the Far Side of a Crescendo

Railan has never wanted for anything more than to spend his days with Tyce, his childhood love, who also happens to be his master’s son. That all changes on the day they’re caught together. 

Punished with a life in the mines, Railan chooses to run in the hopes of one day returning for Tyce. On the streets with nothing except that one wish pushing him, Railan stumbles into the magical discipline of musical Composing where people called Composers use the magic of music in three distinct disciplines. 

Despite his lack of experience, Railan uses his newfound aptitude to fulfill his one wish: to become worthy of Tyce, but it’s not easy. With his heart being pulled in two directions and the constant threat of elite Composers, Railan has to decide if Tyce is the only thing that gives his life meaning or if there’s more to life than his first love.
