One night with my brother's best friend...
My heart is literally racing. He’s the boy I wanted more than anything. The one I always had a crush on and couldn't have. Now he can buy anything he wants.
Except, he's staring right at me like I hold the answers to his darkest secrets.
He's forbidden, and I know he'll break my heart.
I also know that if my brother comes to know he will break his nose. But that doesn't stop me from taking what he's offering.
And when I find out I'm pregnant, NOTHING will ever be the same again.

This book is funny and sad. It’s frustration and humiliation. It brings life into perspective in a good way. The HEA is all consuming and makes your full to bursting.

This was definitely the kind of book that gets your pulse racing! Lillian and Andre were just made for each other, I really enjoyed this read, it was short and sweet with the perfect amount of spice for the kind of story it is! I read this in one sitting and was hooked from the start!
Loved it!!
Solid second chance romance between opposites who discover maybe not so opposite after all. Strong on self discovery and found family with characters you will root for.
A perfect romance, Lilian runs from her family to live her own life, to be outdoors and to be able to make her own decisions without forever being told that she is wrong or worthless. The farm that Lilian flees to acts as a balm. She is nurtured by the weather and by kind people, the book manages to convey a real feeling of peace and tranquility. The horses comfort and weaving their manes is therapeutic, pushing wheel barrow is calming and living a simple life is made so very attractive. The book is helped along by the sexy Andre who makes so many mistakes but is just about good enough for her. A cheesy romance with such a large dose of goodness.
Andre was rich and powerful but not happy. A friend suggested he go to Rosemary Farm to work and renew himself. Lilly and Andre dated in high school, but when they were off to different colleges, Andre broke up with her. Lilly’s family was rich and constantly asked her to join them in the family business. She needed to get away from them and chose to work at Rosemary Farm. Andre had no idea she was there working but in no time, they rekindled their relationship until Lilly refused to leave the farm and Andre returned to New York City. I loved the family Lilly found on the farm. The work was hard but offered a chance to feel productive. Her simple life was so rewarding. This book is a testament that money cannot buy happiness and people can change.
I absolutely loved this book! It had all the elements I look for in a romance novel - second chance love, a forbidden romance with the brother's best friend, and an accidental pregnancy thrown into the mix. The steamy scenes were hot and passionate, adding an extra layer of intensity to the story.
The setting on a family farm added a cozy and charming atmosphere to the book, and the likeable secondary characters brought even more depth to the story. I found myself rooting for the main characters to overcome their obstacles and find their happily ever after.
While I thoroughly enjoyed this book, I did find some parts of the plot to be a bit predictable. However, the heartwarming moments and sweet ending more than made up for it. Overall, I would give this book 4 out of 5 stars. It's a fun and engaging read that will leave you feeling satisfied and happy.
I loved this book! The Rosemary Farm sounds perfect & it really makes you want to go there. Lilly & Andre’a history & love story is beautiful. A one night stand and a surprise pregnancy. I devoured this book in one day.. Absolutely loved it!
Jennifer Hartley has written an amazing story that explores the fact that there is more than life to money and physical possessions.
I believe the fact that Lily has such high expectations placed upon her by her family is extremely relatable and really helps the reader connect with the character.
I loved the story but it did feel a little rushed at times.
I would recommend this story to anyone who enjoys the pregnancy trope.
Going into this book I really wasn't sure how I was going to feel about it. After getting a few chapters in though, I was invested in the characters. She is tired of the city life and wants to get out from under her family. He is a grumpy suit who thinks the world should cater to him, until he gets a dose of reality. I loved the way their relationship rekindled and how he reacted once finding out he was going to be a father. And I felt the way their story ended was perfect for them. Love it when the guy actually LISTENS!
A short fun novella about a second chance at love for free-spirited Lilly and business focused Andre who stumbled upon each other again years after their breakup during a summer when they both are just looking for *more*. Great read if you want some short, with spice and a fun story between longer more stressful books.
ARC Review of Billionaire's Secret Baby by Jennifer Hartley
* * * * *
A surprise preganncy between a runaway rich girl wanting the simple life, and her brother's billionaire buddy who is searching for something he has been missing.
Lilly fled in the dead of night from her snobbish and neglectful family. One upon a time she believed she had someone who cared for her, now they were pushing her to become someone else. Someone she refuses to become. Fleeing to the farm was the best decision she ever made, she just did not expect the universe to throw her a curveball.
Andre had everything. He owned a skyscraper and everything in it. He was rich. He was well connected. Yet something was missing. When a friend recommends stepping back from it all and going country out at a lovely little farm, his interest certainly perks when he sees Lily, sister of his friend and rivetting beauty.
Sparks fly between them, and they are consumed by their desires, but they are both wanting different happy endings.
Will they come to terms on what they want for each other...or will Lilly disappear from Andre's life carrying a secret?
An enjoyable read. Billionaire not really a bad boy, just a little lost and certainly smitten with Lilly. Maybe a little silly with some of the ideals he has which a old school, especially when it comes to Lilly's brother. Lilly has guts, knowing what she was leaving behind to persue her passion with nothing more than a bag and a plant. Thankfully her new home has great people who wish to take care of her.
Happy ending. Steamy barn scene. Cool horses. Want to crash in one of the cabins!
