Description
This book reveals a critically important approach for improving attitudes underlying personal and social behaviors resulting in dire consequences. The main emphasis is healing. Attention is directed to creativity connecting feelings to forms of expression such as writings, arts (sculpture), story telling, and humor/laughter. Of all these manifestations humor/laughter is the most powerful, as I demonstrate: it is impossible physiologically for laughter and anger to coincide. Thus laughter can be a personal and social means of influencing personal health and social well being. Public Policy (very much) needs to mitigate anger responsible for much mayhem, ex.shooting people dead for minor annoyances, among others.
Early childhood interventions are easy to develop for long term relief. The book illustrates how laughter can be generated, a tool I used in my recovery from double mastectomy due to cancer. I also experimented with a variety of healing ways to motivate positivity and optimism.
