Description

Every story has a hero and a villain.

Zaheer used to know right away who they were. He put himself in the hero’s shoes so many times as a kid.

He thought he knew what it meant to be one.

Twenty years have passed since the realms of Earth and Zypher merged. A group of Earthrens have built a fortress around their newly formed city to defend it against the Zypherians.

Zaheer enlists in the fortress’s military in search of one thing: a life of purpose. He wants to make a difference and secretly hopes to become a hero, like those in the stories he immersed himself in.

When the Zypherians attack the fortress, events conspire to pit him against innocent Zypherians, causing him to feel a push and pull from both sides.

Just as Zaheer finds himself questioning who’s good and evil, a sudden burst of light from a pond shows him the life of Hero Akai, a Zypherian born before the worlds merged—a story that tugs at his heart.

When yet another Zypherian is harmed, Zaheer must make a choice: either stay in the fortress and abide by his leaders’ decisions or betray his people and save the Zypherian.

A debut novel in the young adult fantasy genre, Memories of Hero will embark you on a tale filled with moral dilemmas, memorable characters, and heartfelt moments.
