Safe and Simple Food Allergy Prevention by Malina Malkani is an incredibly helpful and approachable resource for parents starting their baby's food journey. Malkani breaks everything down into simple, easy-to-follow steps, making it feel much less overwhelming. The tips on safely introducing common allergens are clear and reassuring, and the meal plans and recipes are practical for everyday use. The pictures in the book are a wonderful touch, adding variety and making the recipes look even more appealing. I was initially drawn to the book because of its connection to BLW, which I've learned a lot from previous books, and was happy to see this become another good resource books for homes with babies and toddlers who are interested in safe food exploration.

What a FANTASTIC book to own if you are starting your weaning journey with a little one, or think your child may be susceptible to having an allergy - this is the book for you! Not only does it (simply) explain all the theory behind allergens, it is your helping hand for every step of the way for introducing new allergens to your child. Plus, it has some super recipe ideas, and meal planners, for successfully and easily integrating the allergens into your child’s (and your family’s) diet. It’s really hard thinking of how to manage fitting in all of the allergens into meals, to ensure regular exposure and to build tolerance - this book has done all the hard work for you.
Would recommend.

With thanks to the publisher, and Netgalley, for an e-ARC to read and review.
