Description

William knows exactly what he wants. He saw what his parents had and he plans to have that kind of love for himself. He just has to convince Aubrey she’s perfect for him. He attempts to take it slowly, cautious of her weariness and his own preoccupations. Then he bargains, persuades and seduces until Aubrey agrees to be his. That’s where the rest of his life begins…

… even while another part of his life begins to crumble. He finds the foundation of his own family rocked. With William’s future not in his control anymore, he needs Aubrey as much as she needs him. There’s solace in knowing you don’t have to go through life’s heartache alone.

This is the second book in the Heart And Soul series, a contemporary BDSM-lite Romance Series that contains explicit sex scenes, including consensual adult spanking.

Advance Praise

"So I fell head over heals with William when I read the first book in this series. He is a Dominant who knows what he wants and he wants Aubrey. The first book of the series is all Aubrey's POV. We learn why she is so insecure and how William get her over it. This book is Williams POV. We see him grow more and more in love with Aubrey as she grows more and more confident in herself. There is overlap between the books but I loved it. I remembered the scenes and where Aubrey's head was so it is cool to see William's take on everything.

This book does take you out past book one to see William and Aubrey finally admitting their love for each other. I will admit to tears at that point. We, the reader, knows how they feel but to finally see it.....priceless.......

William finally gets to take his little elf home to meet his parents. no shock that they adore her!! She also is supportive of everything he is dealing with in terms of his mother...sniff sniff......I was glad when William got to finally talk to Aubrey's parent to see how AWFUL they are in regards to her.

I was so happy with the way this book was moving and grooving that when the last few pages are read I had to back track and re-read to make sure I read it right. I was GASPING at this cliffhanger....I didn't see it coming and I will tell you that I cannot wait to see what the heck happens!!!"

A lot of credit needs to be given to the author were this story is concerned . William's story was so much more involved and travelled the story line so much better , Williams version was fantastic to read . It was great to get into his head to fund out what was going on with him . With the 1st book in this series you could really tell what was going to happen . Due to the girl just being skittish but with William you don't really know what's going on in his head . I really enjoyed this story and how it was written . There isn't much to say about the book that the description doesn't tell you . Just be prepared for the cliff-hanger ending .
Absolutely loved this story and cant wait for book 3 . I have left 5 star ratings everywhere .

This is the sequel to Hold My Hand, and it is everything I wanted - the story from the hero's viewpoint. I absolutely am enamored with Paloma Beck's writing style and her ability to balance sex and romance. This book again tackles the lifestyle of Domestic Discipline with grace and dignity, adding elements of D/s and BDSM but not at the risk of the story. The underlying theme I pick up is tenderness and care. The lead couple is extremely compelling, their back stories are explored and fit the picture of who they are at this point in time and explains their actions and reactions. Their journey to happily ever after is well plotted and satisfying. I looked forward to revisiting this couple and their world, and I was not disappointed.
