LILY

If you’d told me yesterday that I was chosen to battle the Celestial Lands and the Underworld alongside an archangel and an archdemon who hate each other, I would have said you were crazy.

That was yesterday.

This was a fantastic novel, I enjoyed the way it uses the genre and how well the overall feel worked with the world. The overall feel worked and I enjoyed the use of angels and demons in this. Luna Kayne has a strong writing style and was glad I got to read this.

This book was so beautifully written. I was hooked on every word and nearly unable to put down this book. It’s a why choose romance with a prophecy and a trial. I found it to be a very interesting take on the whole demons and angels and it was original and honestly just completely fascinating.
There was some smut but it wasn’t too much, it was just enough. All of the characters were lovely, and well written. I loved the way the two male main characters worked through their jealousy and I adored the way their relationship with the female main character was written. The friendships were so beautiful and just everything I wanted.
Some parts of the book were confusing but that confusion was cleared up quickly enough.
There was a cliffhanger right at the end that just left me gasping for more. It wasn’t quite a five star but it was so close to being one for me. The main reason it wasn’t quite a five star is because in some places it was kind of predictable. The why choose also didn’t play out the way I had quite anticipated and in some parts I found it a little lacking.

Overall I absolutely loved this book and will be getting my hands on it when it is finally released.

*Sanctum* by Luna Kayne is an exhilarating blend of dark fantasy and epic adventure, packed with tension, complex characters, and a gripping prophecy. Lily, an unsuspecting mortal with a hidden destiny, is thrust into a war between realms, flanked by an archangel and an archdemon who can’t stand each other. The dynamic between the three is electric—equal parts conflict, camaraderie, and reluctant trust.

The story masterfully weaves high-stakes action with moments of vulnerability as Lily grapples with her newfound role in a cosmic battle. The world-building is immersive, the stakes are monumental, and the clash of divine and demonic forces keeps you on the edge of your seat. If you love stories about chosen ones, reluctant alliances, and the fate of worlds hanging in the balance, *Sanctum* is a must-read. It’s intense, emotional, and leaves you eagerly awaiting what’s next in this epic saga.

I really enjoyed this book, it had me hooked from the start, I managed to finish this book in a few days, the story, the characters everything flowed so well together.

I felt captivated by the story from the first few pages, I do enjoy books with this type of vibe, the whole demons, hellhounds and much more to keep you invested in this!

Not a dull moment in this book! Highly recommend.

Sanctum was such an interesting read! It blended fantasy, religion, and had a solid amount of spice. It was very plot heavy with spice included, which I think made for a much more interesting read. I loved the characters, each of them individually and them as a whole. Loved the found family. And I love that the ending didn’t feel hurried or thrown together. I can’t wait to reread it so I can annotate and take a closer look!

4,25/5 stars

I loved this very much!

Both the writing and world building were easy to follow. I just couldn't stop reading this, I was hooked from the very beginning.

Usually I'm not a why choose reader but I liked it in this story a lot. The relationship between the fmc and both mc's felt realistic and well developed. Personally I am team demon, but I liked and felt for the angel too. I also liked the spice between both pairings and all of them together.

I also liked all the religion references throughout the book. It fitted the overall story very well and I think those were used very well to give more depth to the story.

I know for sure I'll be rereading this one in the future, but I do hope to get back to these characters and their story some time in the future in the form of new book(s).

This book was amazing!! It had me hooked from the start. The storyline was so well written and I fell in love with the characters. That cliffhanger though?! I NEED BOOK 2!!

I especially loved how the two main characters worked out their issues with one another just to keep the fmc happy I was routing for them both! Who would of known a Demon and Angel could work together?! I'm 100% going to reread this on my kindle 😍

If you love fantasy this is a must read!!

A darkly addictive fantasy story with a brilliant take on ArchDemons, ArchAngels and The Garden of Eden. If you like the balance of evil and good, dark and light and think the Uderworld would be a sexy place to be, welcome to the world of Sanctum. Asmodeus will forever have my heart, and the tenderness of Lily and Asmodeus really did have my heart for a while. The why choose element of this is fairly predictable but very much enjoyable and Michael's POV chapters were some of my favourites. Lily being thrust into a cosmic battle for peace with monumental stakes and demons vs angels clashing in an prophetic war was just far too good to put down. The themes of trust, forgotten family, forbidden love and woven richly through the story. Emotionally charged, deeply prophetic and addictive from start to finish.

Firstly thank you to Luna Kayne, Kayne Publishing and Net Galley for giving me the opportunity to read the Sanctum eARC.

Wow. What a book! I thoroughly enjoyed reading Sanctum. The book starts with our FMC Lily, who manages to wander directly into the Underworld at 6 years of age and meet Asmodeus, an archdemon. Then we meet Lily as an adult and follow her and Asmodeus as their stories continue. I was hooked right from the start.

The book is so well paced and the plot is fantastic. I didn’t see any of the major twists coming and it was so well written that the reveals slowly pieced together the bigger picture which I loved.

The characters are beautifully written and the dialogue between them flows so easily. Every one of them had chemistry with each other and just worked together so well. Found family is a big element of Sanctum which is always a big hit with me. I found myself hugely invested in the stories and the fate in all of the characters, not just our main ones. We also get 3 main POVs which worked really well.

In short, I loved Sanctum. This is the first book I’ve read by Luna Kayne but I will definitely be reading more. Hoping and praying there will be more Primordial Lands novels as I would love to read about some of the other characters (Bowie please!!!)

If you love found family, romance with some spice, Heaven vs Hell, magic, angels and demons, prophecy and a book that keeps you on the edge of your seat, you need to get Sanctum on your TBR!

Sanctum is my first book from this author, and it won't be my last. This was not a short read at all, but it was one that was interesting and kept me hooked the entire story. I devoured this book within 2 days and was not ready for it to end at all, and the author left us with I would call an open ending or an ending for now. We get an ending that leaves us satisfied but at the same time, when it comes to the story as a whole leaves us needing more of Lily, Asmodeus, Michael (the main characters), and Bowie, Hecate, Slade, Ragnar, Moros and the rest of the gang. I don't want to give anything away, but I think all paranormal lovers will enjoy this story in some way. It has demons, angels, sex demons, hellhounds, soul hunters, shapeshifters, ancients, the firsts beasts, the fates, synergies, humans, and so much more. As I mentioned before this is a long story but there is never a dull moment. This story is full of shocking and jaw dropping secrets, surprises, twists and turns, betrayal, action, adventure, death, life, prophecies, destiny and much, much, more. I hope the author decides to give us more of Lily, Asmodeus and Michael's story even if it leads into Hecate's own story, but I would absolutely love more of them because even though we got an ending for now I feel as if their ending in a way is just their beginning for them. Anyways, with that being said this was a great story and I'm excited to see what this author writes next when it comes to the books or characters in this series/world.
